(Emily's POV)

After school I was stopping at Alison's hose. It's not like she knew...she didn't.

If I told her I was coming, she would lie and say something came up. She never wants to spend a second alone with me in the same room.

Someone else always has to be around. Ever since the movie, Ali has changed around me. And instead of talking about it, she just ignores it.

Today I'm solving that problem and I'm going to get her to talk to me no matter what.

I knocked on the familiar big wooden door of her house and waited for a response.

I Stood there for about five seconds before Ali swung the door open.

"E-Emily." She froze as she saw it was me and offered me a small smile.

I could tell she was not happy to see me. "Hey Ali can I come in?" I asked getting straight to the point.

"Um, sure." She said opening the door wide for me to walk in.

We kept eye contact as I entered her house. She slammed the door shut and as she turned back around to face me she crossed her arms over her chest.

It was silent until I spoke up, "So, how are you doing?"

"Emily, just get to the point already please." She said irritated with me.

I opened my mouth then shut it. "Look, I-i know why you're here. Could we just get to it please? I have things to do." She began.

I nodded. "I'm here to talk. And apparently you know that. So I guess ill-" I started to say before Ali interrupted me.

"I don't take back what I said." She softly stated.

I stood there giving her a blank expression. "What don't you take back?" I asked even though I knew exactly what she was talking about. I just wanted her to admit it to her self. I wanted her to admit it to me. And lastly, I wanted her to admit and say it out loud.

"You know Emily." She said looking up at me biting her lip.

"I don't think I do." I teased.

She sighed closing her eyes. "I like you." She softly admitted.

"Say that again. I didn't hear you." I lied.

"I-I like you." She said louder than she did before.

I smirked. She looked up at me, catching my little facial expression. "And how do you feel?" She hesitated before asking.

"You know Ali."

I inched closer to her with every work I spoke.

"No, I don't think I do." She said copying my earlier words.

I let out a half hearted laugh and leaned into her ear and whispered, "I like you, a lot." As I drew away from her, I could almost hear the smirk appear on her face.

"Now you know, and I hope this time you'll remember." I told her.

"I don't think I will." She teased. "You should make me remember."

I couldn't believe the words coming out of her mouth. I wasn't sure what she meant by making her remember, but I had a pretty good idea.

I didn't hesitate to grab Ali's face and kiss her passionately. I kissed her like I should've when we first kissed.

She ran her hands through my hair as we kissed letting me know she wanted this just as much as me.

I smiled into the kiss causing her to do the same. I pulled away shortly after leaving our faces still close her sky blue eyes piercing through me.

"Do you think you'll remember now Ali?" I asked teasingly.

She shook her head. "If it means getting kissed like that a lot then no, I don't think I'll remember."

I giggled.

Immediately after she groaned. "Now that we're being honest can I say something?"

I nodded. "Sure."

"I hate your damn giggle." She said.

My cheeks turned red. "Wh-why?"

She laughed. "I didn't mean that in a rude way Em. I meant it's really cute. So cute that I hate it."

"Oh kinda like how I feel about you?" I asked.

She let out a half hearted laugh. "I guess."

I looked over at the clock. "Crap." I said backing away from Ali's embrace.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I promised my mom I'd be home to help for dinner and I'm late. I completely forgot." I said looking in Ali's direction as I began to walk towards her door.

"Wait." She paused grabbing my arm. "Don't leave without a proper goodbye."

I turned around and planted a soft kiss on her cheek. "Goodbye Ali." I whispered our faces were already close. There was no need to talk any louder than in a whisper.

"Bye Em, see you around."
