"Are you okay?" I asked and waited for Katsuki to respond. He soon lifted his head from my hand. I had long forgotten my soft petting and shifted my palm to his soft cheek. He had his eyes closed and only hummed when I asked him questions. So, I shut up and let him relax. It must be difficult being a new student starting senior year. He seemed to be quite shy too - that probably didn't help his case.

"Mr. Bakugou, your mother is here," Principal Nezu spoke with a soft smile and I kept my eyes on Katsuki who tensed up at the mention of his mother.

"She is waiting in the office for you. Your friend can walk with you if you'd like," He smiled and when Katsuki didn't reply, he walked off leaving us alone again.

He pulled his face away from my hand and I tucked my fists in my pockets awkwardly. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on here. First, he refused to call me his friend and now he was letting me pet him and hold his face. Was he flirting with me or was he just quirky and shows affection in a peculiar way? I brushed it off with a cheeky grin and leaned back into the lockers.

"I'll walk you to the office," I offered and watched the curious way he rocked on his heels while biting down on his plump bottom lip. My eyes followed the action but I ripped them away quickly before I could lose my cool. He had no idea I was gay and the last thing I needed was to flirt with him when he was making me work for even a friendship.

"Come on, mouse," I smirked and kicked off the wall, heading towards the office and looking over my shoulder to make sure he was following me - he was. I chuckled when he sped up and mumbled under his breath.

"I'm not a mouse," He huffed and I looked over at him. It was funny that he stood just an inch taller than me. However, his frame was slender, but I couldn't really tell hidden under all those baggy clothes.

"I know. It's a nickname - a term of endearment," I explained, beginning to realize he didn't quite understand sarcasm or my witty remarks. Better to just be clear with him than confuse him. I briefly wondered if he playing into that blond stereotype of being gullible and ditsy. I smirked to myself. Probably.

"Endearment? You barely know me," He scoffed and I shrugged.

"I like to think I'm a good judge of character," I explained and lead him to the front office. I opened the door for him and he stopped moving. He gave me a quick glance before shifting his weight again from left to right.

"I'm sorry I touched you earlier," He blurted out and I bit the inside of my cheek to stop from laughing. However, I couldn't hide the chuckle as I shook my head.

"Don't worry about it," I waved it off and he glanced inside the door I was holding open.

"I'm fine now," He stated. "You can leave," I watched him as he brushed past me quickly and walked over to a woman who looked almost identical to him. They shared the same unruly ash-blond strands of hair, and from my location, I could register they had the same eyes. His mother walked over to Katsuki and began fussing over him. I could barely pick up their conversation but I stayed just to make sure he was alright.

"Mr. Kirishima, you may return to class," One of the office assistants spoke up and I nodded.

"Right, right," I smiled and looked over at Katsuki who was now staring at me. I froze up for a moment, unsure what his intense gaze was all about. He never really looked at me for long periods of time but the boy was glaring at me and facing my direction. Maybe he wanted to say something?

"I'm going back to class now, man. I'll see'ya later, yeah?" I smiled at him but tipped my head in confusion when he shook his head quickly.

"Probably not," He spat and I widened my eyes in surprise. His mother tensed up by his side.
