Chapter 6

In the Addams Drawing room, Yeonjun and Soobin sat with Mr Yang

"Dr. Seungri is here to help" he said to Yeonjun before addressing Seungri "Should Yeonjun speak with Taehyung? He's right outside the door"

"I would speak with Taehyung..." Yeonjun said getting up and stalking toward the door, talking louder and louder "if that were Taehyung, but that's not! That's an impostor! An impostore!" Yeonjun shouted, making Taehyung storm off from behind the door.

In the hallway, Taehyung was marching toward his room, when he heard the kids.

"O villain, villain, smiling, damned villain!" Taehyun said, sword fighting with Huening Kai

"Who calls me a villain? Breaks my pate across? Plucks off my beard and blows it in my face?" Kai responded

"If I must strike you dead, I will!" Taehyun exclaimed

Taehyung then got a genuine gleam in his eyes, hurrying to the staircase to look at the front hall, where swords were drawn, duelling. Huening Kai then ran Taehyun through, making him stagger and fall 'dead'.

"No! No! Gimme that sword" Taehyung exclaimed, Huening Kai handing him the sword. "Haven't you ever slaughtered anyone?"

"He's only a child" Taehyun replied solemnly, referring to Huening Kai

"No excuse" Taehyung said, pointing the sword at Taehyun's throat "Aim for a major artery, the jugular"

"That's what I said" Agreed Taehyun

In the drawing room, Yeonjun was still raving

"A faker! A phony! An utter fraud! A base, deceitful-" Dr Seungri interrupted him.

"Mr. Addams, the theory of displacement, is this familiar to you?" He asked

"No, Bin?" He asked his husband, who shook his head

"Ha! It is too exciting.  I will explain it" Seungri said

"Is it unpleasant?" Yeonjun asked excited

"Deeply" He assured, making both Soobin and Yeonjun fascinated

"Your very own brother, you drive him away. But then, you are feeling the little black monster"

"Huening Kai?" Asked Yeonjun

"Guilt. Your brother returns, you feel guilty, you displace him" Seungri explained

"I do?"

"The feelings in your brain cells,, they collide. You suspect things. You love him, but you resent him. Like for Mama, no?" Seungri said

"But... I didn't hate my mother, it was an accident" He said

"It is a very common psychosis. I see it every day" Seungri assured

"Lucky doctor" Soobin said sincerely

"Displacement! How bizarre...and here, I imagined Taehyung was the problem" Yeonjun said

"Thank you, Dr. Seungri.

"I do wat I can" he said smiling

In Taehyun's room, Taehyung was seated on a leather couch, Huening Kai and Taehyun snuggled up on either side as they were looking at an enormous, ancient book about wounds, scars and gouges, which Taehyung was holding open in his lap.

"You see, children? There's a lot to learn" he said while turning the page "Gangrene"

"Uncle Fester, how do you know so much?" Kai asked
