Chapter 10: Answers

Richard invited over Bruce to his and Zatanna's house in Bludhaven. Bruce finally built up the courage to tell his eldest why he never mentioned his two brothers.

Zatanna made the males some drinks before her and Artemis went out into Star City with the girls. The dark knight sighed, "I'm sorry son, I should had told you all earlier on." The 19 year old sipped his drink before replying, "I understand why you would keep it a secret dad but you still should have told us."

Bruce looked at the raven, "the actual reason I never told you all was because before my marriage to your mother, me, Slade and Jack promised that the first one to get married would led our father's company. I didn't want to but I accidentally got married first, to be honest it was no surprise. The others could go off and do what they wanted. Slade always wanted to work for people as an assassin after our parents were killed. Jack just wanted to have fun of course. And from there we just slowly stopped talking to each other." Bruce looked down disappointed in himself, before he got hug tackled by his eldest son.

Dick smiled, "I understand Dad."

-a week later-

There was a sudden loud freezing noise coming from the gym, in Mount Justice, where the boys were.

Everyone hurried to the gym and saw a large frozen balancing beam, with Nightwing on the floor, like he fell off the beam, with a shocked expression.

"I did it, I did it... hell yes!! I did it!!" Dick shouted with excitement as he showed his large cheeky grin to all the other heroes.

Zatanna laughed and went up to the other raven, hugging him and giving him a kiss on the cheek, "well done babe!"

Finally another chapter done, I'm really to do one a month. But sometimes my motivation just goes. I love writing this story but sometimes the checking and rewriting of each chapter kills me

Can you guys comment your opinion on this story so far after reading it. I would really like ways to improve this story
