⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️

I was running home, My Parents were gonna kick me head in...my stupid drunk mom always yelling and my dad beating me...well...that's the closest thing I'll ever get to Attention'

Things could always be worse...I told myself this when I was gonna get hurt.

Everytime I did get beat, I tried to cancel out my parents Constant Bickering by staring at the moon and listening to insects, like Crickets, Cicadas, and I'd Sometimes Listen to the rain if It was raining...

I was just a foot away from the door the Yelling already in my face, It was just them...yelling...it was like this all the time...but some how...it was better, it was slightly quieter, I didn't hear bottles shattering...but I still was gonna get a beating.

I couldn't even here what my parents were saying when they did beat me, I Heard the yelling quiet down a bit, So I got up and Went to the bathroom. My nose was bleeding, I had a bruise on the left side of my chin, A cut on my leg, and Bruises down my back and Front side of my torso.

I was shocked, It wasn't all bad. I've had worse...that's for sure...

I went back to my room and saw it was sunrise, I sat down and Stared out my window, I Jumped a little from being scared. I opened my window.

"Ponyboy! What are you doin' here!?"
