⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️
As soon as I thought everything was going right...it all spiraled downhill...
It was just me and Johnny...alone...and I probably was the one that messed it up...I frowned. I was alone in the woods, on a bench, just ditched, and I was upset...Great...just what I need...
I walked home...the lights were on...Darry...
I looked in the window, Darry, in that stupid seat like usual, reading. He was obviously waiting for me...
I sighed and put my hand and the doorknob and turned and pushed open the door. Darry stood up and threw down his drink
"Ponyboy Curtis, Late Again!"
"Sorry Darry, I-"
"NO MORE EXCUSES, PONYBOY MICHAEL CURTIS!"
Soda stood up "Darry Please.." His eyes shined and he sniffled. "Darry, Pony..." He looked at us both. "I love you guys more than anythin' in the world, Darry, you need to stop screamin' at the kid for makin' a mistake! Pony, I know you think Darry hates you, he doesn't, he's just tryna protect you and let you live a better life than we did..." He stopped to sniffle. Soda was looking at me with a certain look, I couldn't put my finger on it..."Ponyboy, Darry loves you... He's Fair but strict.." I knew that. "You need to learn respect for Darr-"
"I Respect, Darry" I Pointed out.
"No you don't" Darry Snickered a little.
"Yes I D-"
"PONYBOY! please...just listen to me..." Soda wiped his tears back.
"NO, I RESPECT DARRY AND WHAT I GET IN RETURN IS A KICK IN THE ASS!"
"PONYBOY CURTIS! WATCH YOUR DAMN LANGUAGE!"
"SAYS YOU, DARRY!" I Felt terrible that I was Yelling...but Darry deserved it...
Soda Gave up and he just left the room.
"YES, SAYS ME, I DON'T WANT YOU SPEAKIN' THAT TYPE OF LANGUAGE!"
I sniffled. "WELL MAYBE IF YOUR SORRY ASS WEREN'T A MOTHER FUCKIN' BITCH, I WOULDN'T BE FUCKIN' SAYIN' THIS SHIT!" I laughed a little silently.
Darry smashed an empty beer bottle that Two-Bit left lying around. A shard if glass hit my leg and another hit the side of my face.
Soda rushed in after he heard the glass shatter. Darry pushed me to the ground. I got up and rushed to the front door and Slammed it behind me after I rushed out. I could hear Darry and Soda arguing about all this.
This was my fault... I ran and didn't look back, I didn't want to look back.
