As you walk up to El you notice Will looking at you with tears in his eyes. You bid El a sorry before turning to walk over to him instead. "Are you ok?" You ask and lay a hand on his shoulder.
"No, Mike and I had a fight" He explain before the bell rings. "Go, it's ok" he says when he notice you looking around the hall.
"I can stay with you if you'd like" You weren't going to leave your friend alone when he was down. "Come on" You grab his arm walking out of school to the nearest park. "You wanna talk about it?"
"It's just that everything's about girls now and we don't hang the way we used to" He says tearing up.
"It's silly"
"I don't think it's silly" You say looking at him smiling.
"You don't?" He ask with a gentle smile on his face.
"Yeah, I feel the same" You say looking away.
"Do you maybe wanna hangout someday?" Will asks and take your hand.
"I would love that, maybe we could play D&D?" You smile not sure why you got a tingling feeling in your stomach.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He ask and you look confused. When he sees your grime he looks down on his feet. You take his cheek and turn it so he faces you then you kiss him gently.
"I guess we're not kids anymore now" You say after pulling away, you both giggle and walk back to school hand in hand.
