"Bill, get out of the way. Charlie, get your feet off the table," Mrs Weasley said, flicking him with the towel in her hands. He moved his face with a grin and a,

"Sorry, mum," quickly Molly bustled back to the kitchen, waving her wand so that another wave of dishes moved from the kitchen to the dining room table. When they had remodeled the Burrow they made sure to add a bigger dining room.

"Anything I can do to help, mum," Molly's third son asked,

"No, Percy, just go and enjoy yourself!" She set the dishes on the table, before turning around and moving back towards the kitchen. Setting her wand down for a moment she grabbed a knife for the Christmas pudding, turning back around she went for what she thought was her wand, but it turned into a mouse toy just as she was grabbing for it, "Fre-" her voice died in her throat.

It was the first Christmas after the battle of Hogwarts and Fred's death was still hanging like a dark cloud over the family, George and Molly most of all.

"Everything okay, mum?" A voice asked from the doorway, Molly turned around to see the only twin she had left,

"Everything's fine, George," George nodded before enveloping her in a hug,

"Don't worry, Freddie's here, I know it," Molly pulled away from the hug, "I love you, mum," Molly nodded as she felt a couple tears slip down her cheeks,

"I love you, too," she straightened, wiping the couple of tears off her cheeks, "Now, grab that bread dish and come on," she grabbed her actual wand and headed into the dining room. Gently she instructed George to set the bread plate next to the cranberry jelly, setting the pudding knife down as well, "It's time to eat!" she called, knowing that the food summons would attract all of the people in the house.

"Thanks, mum," her youngest son said walking into the room and kissing her cheek, "It looks lovely." It didn't take a detective to realize that the war had mellowed Ron out, his love for his mother's cooking hadn't lessened, though. As everyone sat down Molly counted the heads at the table, there were two missing,

"Ginny, dear, time for dinner," and as an after thought she also called up the stairs, "And do bring Harry down with you!" She heard hurried footsteps coming down the stairs, a,

"Sorry, mum." and a,

"Sorry, Molly," accompanying them, as well as two blushing faces. Molly just shook her head. Her daughter dragged her boyfriend over to the table, squeezing his hand as they sat down,

"Now that everyone's here," she looked pointedly at her daughter and son that had been late, "Let's eat!" The Weasley's dug in, Harry accepting Teddy from Andromeda to set him in his highchair. Fleur handed a dish of potatoes to Hermione who shook her head at Ron's ridiculous eating habits. Angelina grinned at George before placing a bit of jelly on his nose.

Molly smiled at her family, some by blood and some not, but still just as much as her family. Sitting down next to her husband Molly thought back on the war and all the people that should have been at the table and weren't, but just then they were there, even not physically. This was Molly's family and she was quite proud of it.
