"You know Ron, if you like to eat so much, you should really learn how to cook."

These words from his mother were what started Ronald Weasley down the path of culinary expertise. Five years later when his daughter was first born he had skills to rival his mother.

"Ronald!" Molly shrieks from the kitchen, "I need your help!"

"Coming Mum," Ron sighs. The only downside to being the only other Weasley that really knew how to cook was that everytime Molly Weasley needed help, it fell to Ron to do the honors.
He shuffled through the den to the kitchen where his mother was racing around.

"Man the stove," She instructed hastily, "And don't let anything burn!"

"Yes mum," Ron said, peering at what was in the pots.

Exactly three hours, forty two minute and twenty three seconds later Ron was free again. Free to sit down at the table and eat, not that he minded.

While making the food was great and all, eating was still his favorite part.

"This is good!" Hermione said from next to Ron who just laughed and nudged his wife with his shoulder.

"Always the tone of the surprise."

"Oh shut up," Hermione scowled.

"Miss Prefect, language!" Their best friend chimed in from Ron's otherside.

"Good one mate," Ron fist bumped Harry.

"Honestly, grow up you two."
"Never," They chorosed.

"Never!" The two year old son of Harry chimed in, clapping his hands together happily, his hair full of potatoes.

"James.." Ginny sighed, taking a napkin and wiping off his face. The rest of the table burst out laughing. Ron wrapped his arm around his wife and squeezed gently.

"Forgive me? I'll make sweet rolls tomorrow."

"Deal," Hermione sighs. Marrying her husband had helped to develop her extensive sweet tooth. Ron grinned.
