It's been a year since Fury assembled his band of misfits, The Avengers. It took us a while to get a little traction, but in the end, after Tony's courage, we were able to win. The two of us were a able to return home to Peter (now 3), and pepper. She agreed to being a surrogate mother for tony and I on one condition. Her husband, happy, wanted me to be the biological father, not tony. There was a bit of a feud between them after I went missing, and I guess it stuck. Anyways, pepper was 4 months along in her pregnancy. It wasn't the first time we tried either. Tony and I found out that pepper was pregnant three months before Loki invaded. She and happy were attacked and she lost the baby. She spent four months in the hospital in a coma. When she woke up she told tony and I that she wanted to try again. When I heard her say that I couldn't believe my own ears.
Tony and I were excited, and couldn't wait to hold our baby girl.
