--- CARTER FOREST ---

Peter woke up in a forest. When he finally came to he heard a woman say, "Hello Peter." as he looked around he began to see signs of a struggle, "what happened?" Clara walked over to Peter and helped him up, "a life for a life," she smiled, "looks like the king of Asgard likes you son. Now, shall we?" Clara motioned for Peter to walk with her away from the area.

--- BASE CAMP ---

"Peter, I can't let you leave just yet."

He asked, "why?" Clara said, "your life for a life was a woman with incredible powers. I managed to give you one of a couple that would allow your body to heal at a faster rate and cure your illness. It also allows you to help others."

"That's great, right?"

Clara sat down at the bench, "wrong. She was an evil woman. her powers run

Peter joined her, "once I have them, how hard would it be to take them away?"

"I'm sorry son but you have to go back," Clara looked down. peter said, "and what about the other powers?" Still looking down she said, "flight and teleportation. You can go home when ever you like."

Peter smiled, "thank you. I know this wares on you. thank you. Do come by the tower and visit." Clara looked up, "I will. you come by and visit too." Peter smiled then took off flying.

AVENGERS TOWER
MAIN LIVING AREA

Peter landed on the balcony then slowly walked in as Chloe walked out of the elevator. When she saw Peter she screamed. Peter hurried over to her to get her to be quiet.

"I'm not seeing things, right?" Asked Chloe. Peter smiled, "no, I'm back. Looks like I had an angel on my side." Chloe hugged her brother, "we can wait till morning, well i can't," Chloe smiled, "do you want to meet your niece?" Peter nodded his head then followed Chloe.
--- CAROL'S ROOM ---
"We named her Carol."Peter smiled, "she's beautiful just like her mom." Chloe looked at Peter, " how long can you stay?"

"I," Peter went and sat in the chair in Carol's room, "I," Peter looked down, "I had to make sure you were ok. Chloe, I've watched over you since I could walk. I had to make sure you were ok."

"I don't understand, you just got back and now your leaving me again? You're my big brother. You're supposed to be here to protect me, keep secrets with me. be a shoulder I can turn to and escape the world."

Peters head remained down, "I know, and I'm sorry. I truly am, but there are more important things at stake here. I will always watch over you. always. Chloe, I have gifts that could reshape human history."

Chloe's eyes got wide, "And, and... what do you plan to do with them?"

Peter raised his head, "I'm sorry, but I plan to rewrite Steve's. He's been through hell."

Chloe walked over to peter, "let him know. let him remember the life we've lived... even if it's just a dream." Peter nodded his head then stood up and hugged his sister as she said, "to the moon and back." Chloe pulled away for a moment to see him smile, "to the moon and back," he pulled her in and hugged her tight as everything faded back in time.
