Sam was was hunting in the Shola woods. Sam was a shooting star. Not actually a shooting star but as fast as a shooting star. His main target for hunting were Blue bears on land and Rainbow trout in water. After hunting he was heading towards the town square where there was a large market place for trading of all kinds of things (Food, building materials, cloth etc.). he had a quite successful hunting trip and was heading towards the fresh meat stall right at the very back. It was a small stall, only about 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide. Sam himself was near 6 1/2 feet tall so he had to crouch to talk to Benjamin, the fresh meat trader.
"Hey Ben, I was wondering what I could get paid for 2 whole bears and 20 rainbow trout, all caught today" Sam explained. "Hi Sam, I could probably buy this of you for about 37 neuros, that good enough?" Ben replied. "Yeah that's fine" Sam said shrugging his shoulders. Bears go for about 8.50 neuros and fish went for only 1 neuro each. "If you want to make some more then I could do with some Anola bats" Ben explained. "Why Anola bats?" Sam asked. "They are trending because of the festival in a few days" Ben explained. "Alright, I'll be back in a bit" Sam responded, walking away.
It was a tough job since Anola bats hide in the tree leaves during the day and are impossible during to catch during the night, even with a net. Sam managed to get about 20 Anola bats and then headed back to the stall. "Here's your Anola bats" Sam explained, quite tiredly. "Wow 20, well here's your extra hundred neuros" Ben replied sorrowfully. Sam was in shock. Why 100 neuros? he then noticed that it said on the sign that Anola bats are 5 neuros each. "Right well, see you sometime soon" Sam said moanfully dragging himself away.
Sam was walking through the rest of the market when he was walked up to by the king's messenger, Wallace. "Oh, hello Sam" Wallace said joyfully. "Hi Wallace" Sam said surprised. He immediately seemed more awake, not surprisingly since Wallace was quite short. His nickname is Mousey which made sense. "What are you wanting?" Sam asked still in shock. "King Shalo is wanting a word with you, he said it was quite urgent" Wallace explained. "Right, I'll go to my house then come to the castle" Sam replied walking away.
Five minutes later, Sam got to his house. His house was large since his family is one of the richest in the city of Ason, the capital of Aconia. Red roses bloomed around the front door, which was surprisingly Sam's idea. "Hello son, how much did you make at the market?" Sanda asked. "I made 137 neuros" Sam responded. "Oh yeah, king Shalo is wanting a word with me" He continued. "Okay just put the money down and then head off there. Sam did as she said then left.
After 20 minutes of walking he finally reached King Shalo's castle. All of a sudden a guard tried stopping him. "What is your business here?" The guard exclaimed. He was trying to be intimidating but since Sam was 6 1/2 feet tall, it didn't really work. "I got a message from Wallace saying King Shalo wanted a word with me" Sam explained. "Oh, my apologies Sam" The guard said moving out the way quivering in fear. Everyone knew that Sam was quite short tempered. He would get so red, it would look like he was a fire's base. Sam then slowly walked into the castle's main hall. He felt a shiver go down his spine as the hall was ghost-quiet. "Hello Sam, I trusted you when you said you'd be here soon" Wallace said coming into the room. "AHHHHHH!" Sam squealed. "Oh, sorry Wallace, didn't know it was you" Sam explained. Everyone who heard it had a slight chuckle.
After that, Sam and Wallace headed into the King's throne room. "Hello Sam, nice to see you" the king explained joyfully. "You too, your highness" Sam responded. "What did you need me for?" Sam continued. "I have heard news that Hagor the blood dragon has nearly broken from his chains and is a big risk to the kingdom of Aconia" Shalo explained. "So what do you need me for?" Sam asked. "You are the only person I know with the expertise, who could possibly kill one of the dragons" King Shalo responeded. "So you're saying that I should go and attempt to kill one of the dragons? a creature with the power to destroy entire kingdoms!" Sam exclaimed in shock. The king nodded his head, trying to hold back a smirk.
Sam went to tell his mother about the news. "Mother, the king wants me to attempt to kill the blood dragon because it has nearly broken from it's chains and is at risk of destroying the kingdom. "Okay, well I'll just say to pack all of the essentials" Sanda replied. after that Sam went to his room. "Water, food, first aid, blade sharpening tool, sleeping bag" Sam listed. It took him about half an hour. "Bye love you" Sam shouted, opening the door. His Mother didn't have the chance to say "Love you too" as Sam had shut the door too fast. It always seemed like that. Anytime he was heading for a mission he always seemed to head out of the house as quickly as possible after packing.
Sam was walking across a large field when he saw a mysterious, limping man. "Hello are you okay?" Sam exclaimed. He got no response. Then just after that the mysterious man whistled and a weird winged creature carried him away. It was too small to be a dragon but too large to be an eagle or hawk. "A Salones?" He thought. He tried to shake it off but the glistening of the man's eye creeped him out. He somehow recognised it though.
