Dragon slayer: Blood dragon

Chapter 7

The troll took an Overhead swing, crashing into the ground. It cracked the wall of the maze slightly. Sharlon started to fly around to confuse the troll and barely missed another swing. Asta used her powers to crumble a part of the cave's wall and throw it at the troll's head. The troll was fast, it seemed to just be slower than Hagor Jr. Tom shot arrow after arrow and yet they only hit the Troll's wooden club and gave it a few "spikes" to hit a specific spot even more. Sharlon flew be the troll's feet and trip it up but it swung. It missed Sharlon's tail by two inches. After that Diamond went to maul at the back but the troll grabbed her and threw her but luckily Asta caught Diamond just before she landed. 

Asta put down Diamond and Diamond licked her face. Asta then noticed that the troll took a swing and she put up a force field. Sam tried to slash and slash at the back but to no avail. "What the hell is going on?" Sam shouted. "Asta, take the arrows out of the club and throw them "Sam ordered. Asta did just that and aimed at the Troll's face. The Troll's eyes turned bright yellow, the club turned an electric-blue and thunder could be heard. It then pointed the club aimed at Sharlon and the club started to shooting lightning out the tip. Sharlon was trying to fly at the speed of Hagor Jr when he curved upwards and did a full circle so he nearly didn't get electrocuted.

Sharlon opened his mouth and small metal shards at the Troll's face. After that a blue sphere of power? started to swallow Sharlon. There was a loud explosion and Sharlon burst out. Sam noticed that Sharlon's head had turned to Gold and the torso had turned to a shinier silver colour. Titanium maybe? Sharlon shot larger shards of metal at the troll and the it knocked the troll back. Asta noticed after flying up that the troll was starting to bleed yellow, so did Tom. "Sharlon blast out as much metal as possible, Asta merge it together, Tom shoot an arrow at it then Asta make it so the sharp tip is on the outside and Diamond claw at it so the are sharp areas that can severely injure someone" Sam ordered again. Everyone did just that. Afterwards, the Ruby eye in Sam's sword glowed up and Sam stabbed the large ball of and threw it. It hit the giant troll straight in the middle of the torso.

It sent the giant flying into the back of the maze and it exploded. An Emerald could be seen glowing at the far end and then it flew straight to Tom. It lodged itself into Tom's bow and the force knocked him back but the Bow floated. All of a sudden the silver coloured tips of the arrows changed to well Emerald-green "Aw sweet!" Tom exclaimed. "Sharlon is that still you?" Sam asked. Sharlon let out a loud squawk and flew around in circles with excitement. Sam grabbed his book and tried to see what happened. "Apparently if a Baylo eagle reaches his max potentional it will be consumed by a - ohhh that makes sense now, it will be consumed by a blue sphere of power and the body will change to Gold wings and head while the rest turns to Titanium" He explained. 

After that they continued to they tried to find their way out. Turn after turn they simply couldn't find it. Asta tried to lift everyone up but it was impossible. The walls were too high to climb up, even if Sam had to stand on Tom's hand and get pushed up or vice versa. Diamond tried to jump up but to no avail. While they were trying to find the way out they had to fight a barrage of creatures: Dragons, Trolls, giant snakes, three headed dogs and lions. There was one part when they had to swim (apart from Asta and Sharlon)and they had to fight a twin-headed shark. By the time they reached the other end they had to have a 20 minute or so rest. "This is tsking too long, how long have we got left?" Tom asked moaning. Asta levitated up and came back down in about 10 seconds.

"Still got a bit to go, come on" Asta explained while dragging Tom. After 3 more hours they had to fight another Shadow troll and it took longer than the first one. After they had killed it Asta started to levitate and spin around. She was being surrounded by golden rings and when she came back down her Silver-cyan suit had changed to a Gold-Rose red combo. Everyone was in awe but they still had a long way to go. All of a sudden Hagor had come out of the ground. They could tell that it wasn't the real Hagor as it was glitching but it could hit them. Sam, Tom, Diamond and Sharlon were all out breath and could no longer fight. Asta went to use her Telekinesis when a bright Gold coloured ball came out and it was shot at the hologram and it burst into a million pieces then Sots came out of it.

"You were in there! did we hurt you?" Sam asked concerned. "No, everything phases through me" Sots replied. "No it doesn't! there's a giant hole in you from Asta's blast!" Tom pointed out. Just after Tom shouted that Sots fell to the ground. "Sots, SOTS! can you tell us who the supposed Dragon master is?" Sam exclaimed. "It's... it's A- ungh" Sots moaned before going to sleep for the last time. Asta was shaking. "Is... is it my fault?" She asked trembling. "No, no, no it's not your fault" Tom said trying to calm her down. "You didn't know Sots was in there and you had no control of that blast" He continued. Asta had to sit down on the wall and have deep breaths to calm. "Okay, let's carry on" ASta said while lifting her head up. 

After an extra 30 minutes of walking they finally reached the door . The Ruby eye suddenly started glowing and Tom held up the sword and the door. The door opened but they saw a shadowy figure at the top of the steps.
