Dragon slayer: Blood dragon

Chapter 8

The team were heading out  of the maze and the were walking towards the figure at the top of the stairs. They got a little bit closer when they noticed that there was a Wolf. It went to pounce at Tom and it knocked him down the stairs. Sam went chasing after him when he noticed the Wolf was licking Tom's face. Tom then got up with a chuckle and the figure came down the stairs. "Hello son, long time no see" the figure suggested. Tom then realised that it was John, his dad. He jumped at John and gave him one of the biggest hugs he had ever gave. The Wolf tried to jump up to get hugs too.

"What are you doing here?" Tom asked tearing up.  "I was just needing some time to myself, so I went to my old cabin" John explained. John's cabin took 6 hours to get to by horse and Tom was never told where he went. "What are you lot doing anyway?" John asked. "I was tasked with killing Hagor by King Shalo and everyone else joined in with me" Sam explained. "Right well would like Fangey to join you, the more the merrier?" John suggested. Fangey was Tom's pet blood Wolf. They have Blood-red fur and shining silver teeth. Tom nodded his head vigorously nodded his head as he absolutely wanted Fangey to come. John did nothing but wave and then headed off to the other side of the maze.

There were now 6 members of the team:Sam, Tom, Asta, Sharlon, Diamond and Fangey. They went on their way to the cavern when they  felt the ground trembling again. Sharlon got posed, ready to fly. He almost perfectly knew what it was, and he was right. The ancient dog creature came out of the ground. It seemed to be the same one. It had sealed wounds that had a Red marking around the wounds. Could Hagor resurrect monsters? After twenty minutes of fighting Sam and Asta were the only two left to fight. Asta went to use her Telekinesis again but the Gold sphere came out instead. "Keep control then fire!" Sam exclaimed. She then did that and the creature fell to the ground again. Asta levitated for a few second s afterwards then dropped to the floor. Sam was able to catch her and then put her gently on the ground. 

Tom had just woken up when he heard the squawk of a Salones. He kept an eye on it and fired. It missed it and the Salones got away. They walked for a bit more for a while when they came across the Shadowy figure. Always the same limping man, they could tell as it had a distinctive limp. After it noticed them looking he or she dashed off towards the Calosma woods. A soon as they reached the edge they lost track of the figure. Not only that but they had to go through and they didn't know the way around. They thought they saw slight glimpses of light but it was just the sun gleaming like a torch through the bushy leaves. This happened multiple times and Sam was starting to get rather annoyed.

"Asta can you use your blast to see if there's any way out of here?" Sam asked. Asta nodded her head and did just that and started to use the power sphere. They had a look around around but it seemed there was no way out of this place at all. Asta dropped and Tom had to carry her. It seemed that anytime  she uses that power she loses all her energy and needs someone to carry her. Twenty minutes later Sharlon flew above tree level to see that it was turning night time. Everyone got ready to go to sleep. Sam however couldn't sleep and was tossing and turning all night. He opened his eyes and saw the outline of a figure, looking at them, it noticed that Sam looked at it and ran off. 

Sam went to chase it and grabbed his sword in case the worst had to happen.After about five minutes of running he lost the silhouette but he found a bag. He got back to the campsite when he noticed that Asta was awake. "Hey Asta, what's wrong?" Sam asked. "Hm, oh nothing, I just had a nightmare about killing Sots" She replied. " Listen, it wasn't your fault, you didn't know you had that new power and you didn't know how to control it" Sam explained. "What's in the bag?" Asta asked. "I'm not sure, I was gonna look in it tomorrow when there was somewhat better lighting" Sam answered. After that he went back to his sleeping bag and tried to get back to sleep and put the new bag with the medical supply bag.
