Dragon slayer: Blood dragon

Chapter 3

Sam and Tom are walking away from Jayle's forgery while talking about how much they like their new weapons. After 20 extra of walking minutes when they notice that the ground starts to tremble. It feels like a really strong earthquake. All of a sudden some stone creature dog looking thing comes out of the ground. Both Sam and Tom are ready to fight when all of a sudden they see a bird flying in the sky making a direct dive. It comes a little closer and Sam realises that it's Sharlon. Sharlon comes down and starts flying around to confuse the stone creature. The creature somehow hits Sharlon by raising the ground at the flick of the finger. Tom goes to shout the names of people he doesn't want to freeze. "Sam, Tom and Shar-" He exclaimed before getting hit. He flew for about 10 seconds before landing into a pond. Sam went to slash with is new sword when the creature grabbed him and threw him into the trees nearby.

Sam goes flying just as Tom is getting out of the pond. He pulls arrow after arrow from his bag to shoot and yet it only cracks the surface of the stone. Sam sneaks up from behind and attempts to stab the stone creature in the back. Just before he did it the Ruby eye in the sword suddenly glowed up. Sam stabbed the creature in the back and it howled in pain. While it was distracted Tom shot some more arrows through the torso and Sam barely dodged the arrows as he was clambering up the back preparing to slash. Tom shot two arrows towards the top eyes when the creature raises the ground yet again. Sam jumped up and stabbed the creature in the top of the head while Sharlon went to peck at two of the four eyes and Tom shot two more arrows to blind the other eyes then used the time freezing pendant.

"TOM, SAM AND SHARLON!" He exclaimed while pressing the button. Just after that Sam jumped down from the head. "What did you do?" Sam asked. "I used the time freezing pendant" Tom replied. Afterwards Sam jumped up and ran across the arm then jumped of the shoulder, the Ruby eye glowed up again, the blade extended while glowing gold and Sam swung, the blade phased through the neck and the stone creature's head fell to the ground while crumbling apart. Sam fell off then the rest of the creature's body crumbled away. They eye stopped glowing and the stone creature slipped back into the ground. "What was that?" Tom exclaimed. "I have no clue but it was something to do with the new sword" Sam replied.

They were heading back to the back to apply the first aid. They were getting ready to bandage up Sharlon's wing when Tom noticed a piece of paper tucked into the feathers. "Sam wait, what's this?" Tom asked. "You read it while I bandage up Sharlon's wing" Sam replied. After Sam had finished up bandaging he got up. "So what does it say?" Sam questioned. "It says this: Dear Sam and Tom, it has come to my knowledge that Hagor Jr had broken free from it's own chains and is heading towards your direction; I would recommend trying to kill it so you do not have to kill both of the Hagor dragons directly one after the other. Your sincerely, King Shalo" Tom read out aloud. 

After that Sam, Tom and Sharlon started heading towards the forest that Hagor Jr was supposedly heading towards. It was like a maze. It was the same thing. Tree after tree after tree, over and over again. "Sharlon, fly just over the trees to see if were near the other side" Sam demanded. Just like that, Sharlon flew up and came back down a few seconds later. He gave Sam and Tom a dissapointed caw. Tom was confused so he climbed up the tree himself to see nothing but hundreds to thousands of more trees. Just trees for the eye to see. He clambered back down to tell Sam the bad news. "There's no hope, it's a field of trees" Tom moaned depressingly. He then realised that he had splinters all over his arm. "Right, just stay still and I'll pull them out" Sam explained. After he had finished he took his bottle of water to get the super tiny pieces. After he did that, he bandaged up the tiny wounds.

They decided to have a break to eat and drink. "Look through the bag and see what you want" Sam said. Tom just took out an apple and his bottle of water. About twenty minutes after they finished they smelt something burning. They ran towards the burning smell, low and behold it was Hagor Jr. "Get ready, It's Hagor Jr" Sam whispered. Tom slowly pulled out an arrow to shoot and Sam drew his sword. All of a sudden Tom shot, Sam dashed and Sharlon flew towards Hagor Jr all at the same time. It seemed like Hagor Jr had eyes in the back of the head as Tom missed all of his shots even the ones that had no chance of missing. Sharlon kept on crashing into the baby dragon. Hagor Jr kept on shooting burbling, boiling blood at Sharlon and Tom while Sam was climbing to the top of a small hill to jump. Hagor was aiming towards Tom when he jumped off to impale the baby dragon from on top. 

Literally just after Sam had jumped Hagor Jr flew away at super sonic speed the way he came from. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sam screamed while plummeting towards the ground. While he had the chance, Sharlon flew just as fast as Hagor Jr and caught Sam. Sharlon just then softly laid him down. Sam was hyperventilating. "Are you okay?" Tom asked worried, leaning over him. "I'm okay but I need a minute, also I'll need you to wrap bandage over my shoulder and under my arm" Sam explained. So when Sam sat up Tom went to garb the bag and bandage Sam up. "That was a mighty tough fight" Tom suggested. Sam went to grab the creature book and flick through the pages. "Hagor Jr doesn't have eyes in the back of his head but he can sense things coming from all directions and that stone dog thing turned out the last one seen was 2000 years ago and it can only be defeated by weakening the "Outer shell" so that makes a lot of sense" Sam read out. 

Just then all 3 of them saw a strange figure with the back towards them. "Hey, who are you? If I don't get a response I'll shoot?" Tom exclaimed. He got no response. "I'm warning you!" He exclaimed again. He still got no response. He shot.
