EDDIES POV

When my mom took me to the doctors a few weeks ago they gave me pills, then I had to leave the room... when my mom came back out she was holding a belt that had been ripped into three at the bottom, it looked like a whip. When we got home, whenever I would ask to see Richie or even just phone him, she would hit me on the back with it.. I guess it was so nobody could see the bruised, sometimes it would leave more than just a bruise and would bleed... that's why I lied to Richie, I knew if I didn't then she would do it again. I was scared she would hurt me but I was more scared she would hurt him... but still I couldn't get him off my mind. All I could think about was his face when I told him that it was disgusting to like boys... I could just see him with tears in his eyes trying to act like he didn't care.. it broke my heart thinking about how he may never forgive me. I felt tears roll down my face, "your sick, you need to get better" my mother said as she left the room, as if it was some sort of justification for what she was doing. I sat with my head in my knees with tears rolling down my face. Then I heard a knock at my window, I looked up and I saw Richie, I blocked my door so my mom couldn't come in then opened my window again.

NOBODIES POV

"Richie? What are you doing here...?"
"I'm sorry.. I had to see you..what you said earlier...I had to know if you really mean it, or if it was just because your mom was listening..." Richie replied brokenly. "Of course it wasn't true!... I really like you Richie,i just didn't want my mom to hurt you.."
Richie asked confused, "Why would she hurt me?.."
"She thinks I'm sick, and you did something to my head to make me like you..whenever I mention you she hurts me and I didn't want her to do the same to you."
"She's hurting you?.." Richie said as he climbed into his room. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine.." Eddie said. Then there was a loud knock on his door "Eddiebear? Who are you talking to?" His mother shouted while trying to open his door. "Nobody mommy!" Eddie said in a panic "Richie you have to go! She is gonna get in here any minute!"
Richie shook his head then grabbed a bag and started to pack eddies stuff ,"what are you doing? You need to go!" Eddie whispered. "I'm not leaving without you. If your moms hurting you then you can't stay here!"
Before Eddie got the chance to reply his mother burst in his room. Richie grabbed Eddies hand then ran past his mother and downstairs out the front door. Eddies mother ran after the but when she got to the door they were out of sight. "EDDIEBEAR?! COME BACK! YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME!" His mother shouted hoping he would return.
