Richie grew nervous as he approached Eddies house, he wasn't sure why. He always knew Eddies mom didn't like him yet he still wanted to try, even after everything she had done to him but more importantly his boyfriend. He knocked on the door and was welcomed by Eddie with a warm smile and a hug, he walked in to see Sonia standing looking at them from the kitchen. She walked over and to Richies surprise she gave a smile. "Hello Richie.."
"Hey Mrs K... I brought these to say thanks for inviting me.." Richie handed her a box of her favourite chocolate, he wasn't going to bring anything but his mother insisted on it. "Thank you" she took them "dinner will be ready soon" she gave an awkward smile then went back to the kitchen. Eddie took Richies hand and took him to his room "Eddie!" He heard his mother shout, "yes mommy?" He replied, Richie could see he looked worried. "Leave the door open!" Eddie nodded from the stairs and went back to his room leaving the door open around three inches so they still had some privacy. He said beside Richie. "That was weird" Richie said as he took hold of Eddies hand. "Yeah.. at least she's trying tho.." Eddie smiled slightly, "thanks for coming Rich, I know last time you were here things went so shit. I would've understood if you said no." He frowned a little. "It's okay Eds, I love you so if you want to give your mom another chance then I will too."
Eddie smiled "that's not my name dipshit.... I love you too" Richie smiled then kissed him. Sonia looked through the small space between the door and saw Richie kissing her son, this made her angry. She never thought she'd she her Eddiebear kissing a girl but another boy? It was unspeakable. She felt like running in and pulling them apart, but she didn't want to loose Eddie so instead she had a new plan, as she was putting the food onto plates she gave Richie some meat that was neither raw nor cooked, she crushed a pill into his drink, not one that would kill him. Just make him feel unwell.
Sonia shouted the boys down for dinner, they sat beside each other, Sonia facing them on the other side, she had given them some alcohol and said that it was because of a specific occasion. But it was really because she had a plan. "Thank you Mrs K" Richie gave a small smile. "It's not problem. Eat up" she smiled, as the boys began to eat Richie started to feel weird after eating the meat, so he took a drink.  "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for my actions last time I saw you, they weren't right and I shouldn't have done any of what I did" Sonia said to not only Richie but also Eddie. She wanted to make it more believable, she wasn't really sorry she was just trying to help them. But she had to in order to make her son hate her less. "It's no problem..." Richie felt himself becoming nauseous. "C-Could I be excused...?"
"Yes of course" Sonia gave a small smile
"You okay chee?" Eddie gave a worried look.
"I'm fine!" Richie rushed to the bathroom, he felt as if he was going to throw up and that's exactly what he did. Eddie and Sonia both heard, "Eddiebear you clean this up and I'll go give Richie some medicine okay?"
Eddie nodded and Sonia went to the medicine cupboard. She took out one penicillin pill but also another, from a bag. Sonia used to be a drug addict, but she had gotten over it before Eddie was born, however she still had a bag of unused MDMA in her cupboard, she went upstairs and handed him both pills and told him they were penicillin, so he took them. Sonia knew that the mix of drugs and alcohol could damage Richies liver and things but that was why she did it, she was hoping that if Eddie took Richie to the doctors then he would find out Richie took drugs and maybe he wouldn't want to be with him anymore. As Richie took the pills nothing happened, he could feel a pain in his stomach but that was already there. Eddie took him to his room to rest, after around 45 minutes, that's when the drugs kicked in.
