Beverly made sure nobody was in the bathroom then she walked in and knocked on Eddies door "Eddie? Are you okay?.."
He wiped away his tears "W-why wouldn't I be?"
"Because of what they were saying to you..and about you"
"It's not true so i don't have anything to be upset about...we're not dating"
"Okay... but you like him, and he likes you.."
"I-I don't!.. he doesn't!" He said trying to hide his secret because he didn't want anyone knowing encase they beat him or Richie up or make fun of them.
"Okay.. if you say so... but just so you know, I support you if you are.. and I know the rest of the losers do too.Were all here for you both, no matter what" She walked out and went back to class and Eddie stayed in the bathroom stall until the bell rang.
