"We're here!" Eddie said as he parked the car. It looked oddly familiar to Richie but it was harder to tell in the darkness. They both got out the car and Eddie switched on some lights he put in a tree. And that's when Richie realised, they were at the quarry. The place the losers had introduced them to one another. It looked beautiful with Eddies setup. "Woah, Ed's this is beautiful....why are we here tho?" He asked curiously.

That's when Eddie pulled out a ring box and got down on one knee, he had prepared a speech but instead he heard Richie saying "no.no.no.no nooo this can't happen!"
"W-what why?" Eddie felt himself tear up, he really thought Richie would say yes.

Instead he said something better "because!..." he kneeled I front of Eddie, who was also still on one knee. He pulled out a box opening it to reveal a beautiful ring. "I was supposed to propose to you"
Eddies frown turned into a smile (a cool one tho) and he felt a tear roll down his face, not a sad one tho. A happy one.

"Ed's, ever since we met I felt something, something I never felt for anyone. Boy...when I found out you felt the same, well I can't even begin to describe how happy I felt. But I was also nervous, I was nervous that I wouldn't get to spend the rest of my life with you because you are just too amazing for me. But now I'm sure, I want you in my life forever. I never want to live another day without you by my side... so Eddie Kaspbrack, will you marry me?"

"A fucking million times yes" they both smiled with tears rolling down their faces, and they both placed rings on each of their hands before falling into each others arms.
"I love you so much Richie"
"I love you too Ed's"
