It was finally that time of the year, the time everyone got excited about. Not necessarily because everyone got presents but mainly because school was out. So much had changed since the summer time, Richie and Eddie had came out officially to the losers (although after the losers found out they had had sex they knew it already) and everyone of them had supported them. In fact Bill and Stanley both came out as well (at two different times) and they were now dating, not that anyone was surprised. Beverly and Ben also got together so that left Mike as the last single loser, not that he cared but the losers all swore they would find him someone. Ben had lost quite a bit of weight, not because others were pressuring him to or because he didn't like how he looked, he just thought it was time for a change. Thankfully Mrs Kaspbrack had come around to the idea of Eddie being gay. She knew that she'd loose him if she didn't support it so she stopped trying to make him "better" and he went back home, she had also started to go to therapy so she would be less crazy. Bowers however hadn't changed, he and his goons and been harassing the losers club just as much, if not more than usual. Especially after he found out about four of the losers being gay. But apart from that things were pretty good.
The losers all ran out of school as the final bell rang, they stood around a trash can as each one of them took turns in chucking everything in. "Finally freedom from this hell hole!" Richie cheered. "I just hope it snows this Christmas" Beverly said hopeful as she took hold of bens hand. "It never snows here, don't get your hopes up" Stanley said as he shrugged.
"No... but this year could be the year!" She smiled, "anyway, me and Ben are gonna go...we told my mom we'd be back in time to help for dinner" she said as she smiled then walked away holding bens hand. "More like they want to fit in a quickie before dinner" Richie said and Eddie punched his arm "Chee!" That was Eddies new nickname for Richie, it was supposed to be annoying but it just made Richie find him even cuter. "Yeah I'm gonna go too, i told my uncle id help with the sheep." Mike said then walked away, Stan and Bill shortly after. "And then there were two" Richie smiled as he and Eddie walked along the street. "Chee, i was wondering if you wanted to come over for dinner with me and my mom tonight.." Eddie said while he grabbed Richies hand. "I don't think that's a good idea Eds, she hates me. Remember?" Richie said with a hint of sadness in his voice. "Actually... it was her idea." Eddie could see the shock on Richies face as he said that, so before Richie could speak he added more to the sentence. "She's really trying to support me! She's going to therapy and she doesn't get angry when I mention you anymore, she just wants to make things up to me and that means supporting you as my boyfriend too." Eddie said with a hopeful look on his face. Richie loved when Eddie called him his boyfriend, he knew that they were together but he always thought he was dreaming and hearing him say the words made his heart race. "Okay, I'll come. But if shit gets weird I ain't staying.." that was enough for Eddie, he still felt bad about what his mother had done to Richie so he would have understood if Richie had said no.
Richie walked Eddie home then went back to his to get ready for the dinner at his boyfriends house in a few hours.Soo as you can probably tell, I've decided to add more to the story!
