After Geography class, Kimberlee caught up with me.

'Who's that good-looking bae you were sitting next to?" she asked.

"Who, Callum?" I blushed " I just met him today. I think he's new to our school."

"Well he's SUCH a hottie!" Kimberlee whispered loudly. " I dont think I heard one word the teacher said and Im gonna have to copy your notes."

I laughed and at that moment, Callum came up behind me.

"Hey Axel," he said, smiling. THE FEELS. 

"Oh, hey Callum." I replied, giving him a quick hug. " This is my best friend, Kimberlee. Kimberlee this is Callum."

"Asdfgjkhhhskifsoaiirjw..." Kimberlee mumbled.

"She doesn't speak english on certain days," I said, laughing.

"I. SPEAK. ENGLISH." she managed to say. " Hi, Callum."

"Wanna go to lunch?" I asked them. " I heard Miss Lunch Lady made some special mystery mush for us today. Mmmmmm... yum!"

Kimberlee punched me. " More like.. Grossss!"

We quickly got to the cafeteria, got our trays loaded with the mysterious glob and found empty seats. I sat on one sad and Callum came in next to me. For a moment, I saw an angry pout but then it disappeared as Callum began talking. I shoved a spoonful of glob into my mouth, partially because I was curious and partially because I was hungry.

"Woah! Slow down there." Callum said, laughingly.

I had just shoved two moutfuls of glob down my throat. Great, now he thinks I'm greedy and a slob.

"Sorry. Im just hungry." I said. I lifted the spoon to my mouth again but it flicked and flew into Kimberlee's hair.

"Oh, It's ON!" she said fiercely, grabbing a handful of hers and launching it at my face.

In a couple seconds, we were both caked in glob. Mr. Higgins marched over, his suspenders looking especially menacing today.

"Food fights are highly not allowed at this educational institution. Detention!" he said.

Callum threw a handful of glob at me and it hit me on the neck.

"Oops." he said, smirking. " I guess I have detention too."

Mr, Higgins marched away muttering under his breath about 'society'.

"You got yourself in trouble!" I said, punching him playfully on the arm.

"Hey!" he said, pouting. " I wasnt gonna let the prettiest girl in school go to detention without me.

I started to say something but shut my mouth. Did he just say prettiest? THE FEELS.

I blushed and ate what was left of my glob. Kimberlee was staring down at her phone and texting.. Probably Milo.

Callum and I decided to leave. We had two more classes, then detention,then FINALLY a smoothie.

FINALLY, detention's over. Mr. Higgins put Callum at the back and me at the front with Kimberlee somewhere in the middle so we wouldn't talk to each other. Callum met me outside the detention room and grabbed hold of my hand. I casually planned to respond, by no words came out.

"Let's go." he said, smiling.

He had his convertible parked outside and I hopped in and so did he. Soon, we were sitting next to each other in an empty booth in THE BEANS. I was sipping a chocolate latte but Callum opted for coffee. Black coffee. He looked at me over the brim of his cup and winking. I blushed and looked down at the chocolate foam and whipped cream in mine.
