Third pov

The team was bandaged up and after an hour most were okay.

Ray, Hobbs, Deckard and Ramsey took almost two since they had been so close to the concussion grenades.

Ray sat on the stairs in the room they had relocated to. She felt like her soul had been sucked out of her. A hand touched her shoulder.

"You okay?" Hobbs asked.

She shook her head. "That wasn't him." She held back her tears as she recalled the way he'd looked at her before leaving. "I don't know what she's got on him but she has something. That wasn't my husband."

She could see a small amount of pity in his eyes.

"It would help to have Brian here." Rome said behind her.

She shook her head again. He's right of course. Brian and Dom had a relationship that made them understand each other. "We already agreed to not bring him and Mia into this. Besides they're taking care of their own kids and Angelis right now, the last thing we should do is tip this bitch off to where we have the kids in our family."

Roman sighed. "I know." He knew she was right, but he still wanted to talk this over with his closest friend.

With Dom

The fury Dom felt as he saw Elena and his daughter in Ciphers grasp was a fury he pushed down until he knew he wasn't putting them in danger.

He knew Ray had every right to be devestated with what he'd done but he knew that that was only one of the wys this could go. His wife would either be crushed or furious. He hoped for the latter.

Cipher might have her foot on his neck but Ray's a tiger roaming free. And he was going to need her anger to make taking Cipher done possible.

First thing on his list was to make sure Ray knows that Brian and Mia needs help.
