Only a week past, full of work, studying, and bonding with Teddy, Molly, and Rose, and by the time I knew it, the reunion started to come.
"Harry!" Teddy yelled as the war hero and a Red Headed man entered the Great Hall. It was breakfast time and the reunion was starting today.
"Hey, Teddy!" Harry cried out as he hugged him.
"Hi Uncle Harry. I missed you," Teddy started.
"Ehem. I guess I'll go say hi to Molly and Rose..." the Red Head said jokingly.
"Hi Ron," Teddy said, giving him a hug.
"Ah! Finally!" Ron cried jokingly. "Come on, let's see Molly and Rose." Harry, Ron and Teddy walked over to our place at the Gryffindor table.
"Hi Ron!" Molly said to him.
"How's my favorite niece?" He asked.
"Great!" She replied. "But don't forget Rose. She loves attention!"
"Hey! I do not!" Rose replied.
"Heya Rose!" Harry and Ron both said.
"Hi guys!" She replied giving both of them a hug.
"And who is this?" They asked, gesturing to me.
"Oh, this is Amber Thomas. She's a transfer from Durmstrang."
"Nice to meet you," I said to them, nervous knowing who I was and who they were...
"Nice to meet you too. Any friend of these three are friends of ours," Harry said. I smile at them, not trusting my voice. Just then the Great Hall door opened once again, revealing Hermione Granger and is that...? No! Draco!!!
He doesn't see me yet. But they're walking in our direction. "Hey guys!" Hermione says.
"Hey 'Mione!" Teddy, Molly and Rose exclaim.
"How're my favorite Hogwarts students doing?"
"Great! This is Amber Thomas by the way. She's our new friend," Molly says, introducing me.
"Nice to meet you! Now, where did Draco go?" My heart skipped a beat. I saw him approaching us. I swallowed. "Draco! There you are!" Hermione says.
"Hey guys," He replies, giving side hugs to Harry and Ron. The then hugs Molly and Rose and does a handshake with Teddy.
He then sees me. "Oh, this is Amber," Rose says this time. His eyes widen as recondition flickers across his face.
I give him a look that clearly just says later. He nods and peels his eyes away. I couldn't believe it. After all this time, I can finally see Draco again. Its been years!
Despite who I was, I felt as though I belonged here. With these people.
