They know. They know. They know. That was all I thought about. They know someone attending Hogwarts is his daughter. They know.

"A, are you okay? You've been quiet all week. Is it that thing with Voldemort, 'cause if it is, there's no need to worry about it. My Godfather will keep it all under control," Teddy said one night while sitting in front of the fireplace in the common room.

"Oh, n-no... It's not that..." I told him quietly.

"Than what is it?" He pressed. I stayed silent.

"Come on, you can trust me."

"If I told you, you will all despise me..." I replied a barley audible whisper.

"I could never despise you, A. You're my best friend!" Teddy pointed out.

"You can, and you will."

"Try me," He challenged. I sighed. It was better I told him now.

"I-If I do tell you, you need to promise not to tell another soul. Not even Harry, okay?"

"I'll make the Unbreakable Vow?" He suggested.

"No, too dangerous. If you slip, I don't want you to die. Just... Just give me your word..."

"Okay then. You have my word that I will not tell another soul what you are going to say."

"Unless the time is right."

"Unless the time is right," He added to his promise. Okay, here goes nothing...

"It's is about Voldemort's daughter..."

"I knew it! There's nothing to be scared about," He said calmingly.

"For you, maybe. Not for me. I-I know who they are..." I told him.

"Why is that a bad thing! This is great! Now we can tell Harry and-"

"No," I stopped him.

"What do you mean, no?"

"We can't tell Harry..."

"Why ever not?" I sighed again. I put my head down, looking at my feet.

"Because I am her..." I whispered. Teddy had to lean in, but I don't think he really heard me well.

"What?"

I looked up, still not meeting his eyes. I said it louder this time, but still softly so not a single person could hear me but him. "I am her."

Teddy looked shocked. "B-But-W-Wha-Wh-How!?!" He burst, standing up to get away from me. No one else was in the common room than us.

I collapsed onto the couch. "Please... Teddy... Don't tell anyone..."

"B-But! Your his daughter! Traitor! But I doubt you were ever really on our side! What lies are you going to say now!?!" He spat.

"Teddy! No! I am on your side!"

"Don't lie to me," Teddy said in a dangerously low tone. "Just, stay away from me. Stay away from us." And with that, he walked out of the common room, even though it was after curfew.

Will he tell anyone? And how will I ever make it up to him? What am I going to do!?!
