Once I thought that different cultures came up with legends and myths, and that they spread across the world. A lot of those myths inspired books and movies, based off of the beliefs of ancient people now gone.

I thought too that those myths were just fakes. Campfire stories. Until one day a strange girl and her father moved into my small town. That girl and her father, they made one of those myths a reality when I found out they were werewolves. Since then, I haven't truly known what to believe anymore.

She and I have been dating for over a year now. Her father thinks of me as family, treating me roughly for his own amusement. My family, especially my dad, loves her to death. Mom always looks at her as a tough and beautiful girl and my dad sees her as just a tough girl, and he likes tough.

My friends and I always enjoy spending time together. Ever since Tera and Brook had joined, things have been even more fun between us all. Sometimes even Kai cracked a smile. Although Tera would have a girl's night with Brooke and Arial, we would have a guy's night, which wasn't so new since we were the original.

Dancing Wildflower, the family house lady and my godmother, has been doing nothing new, really. She's kept up with her work and her usual scolding of the family, especially me, since I was going against her wishes of dating a werewolf. Now that Zane had graduated and gone off to college, I was the only one left she had to look after.

Natánik was usually a quiet town. Populated mostly by old town pioneers, it wasn't so hard for residents. Well, residents who were basically born here. Most newcomers have to go through a series of demeaning social acts by the civilians in our town before being accepted. Tera and her dad, Charles, were lucky to even get through without much of that.

Things were usually calm here. Not too hard, not too easy. Besides the fact that werewolves existed and were living in our town, everything was going alright. The only problem, though, was what we never knew about. Werewolves were as noticeable as the day, we just don't see them as what they are, but that's not the case. It's the ones we never see in the day, but at night, that were the problem.

To think that things couldn't get worse, I was such an idiot.

Hey hey hey guys! So I know it's been a while, and if you're reading this then I took extra long to publish this because I'm going to post this chapter along with the next 9 chapters altogether.

This story might be slightly longer than the first, maybe slightly shorter, I'm not sure yet. I'm just gonna go with the flow and see where it takes me. Hopefully I'll get the right amount of chapters out for this book.

I couldn't just sit and be lazy enough to only do one book, so why not make another or two?

Hopefully you guys will enjoy and I'll see you in the next few chapters. Thank you all for the read! 🖤🐺
