"Tera," I said calmly, not taking my eyes off the figure in front of us. "What is that?" I asked her.

She moved forward over the console from the back seat and stared. "I have no idea." She told me.

Suddenly, it moved, splitting into two and moving away from each other. They looked human, and moved like humans. The only thing was that one half was dark, like pitch black. They didn't have a face or body, just a shape of a human.

"What the hell?" Tera said. Suddenly, she started stripping in my back seat until she was pure naked.

I didn't turn to look at her, mostly because of gentlemanly reasons and also to not take my eyes off those two things. "Tera!" I said. "What if they're human? Are you just going to attack?"

"James, my eyes are really good, and I'm telling you right now that those things aren't human. I don't even know what they are." She opened the door and stepped one foot out. "Keep the doors locked no matter what." She got out and shut the door.

I made out the second shape as being a woman. By the looks of the shape of round breasts and feminine shape, it was obviously a female. She was thin from the looks of her. I could barely make out her clothes or her features, but she was kind of short.

From my side of the car, Tera walked past me and stood just at the edge of the left headlight of my Jeep. I turned my radio down and rolled my window down just a tiny bit to be able to hear anything that might be important.

"Who are you that makes me present myself nude in the night?" Tera asked in a poet's tone of voice.

There was no response. They just stood there motionless once more. I didn't like the looks of the dark figure. It didn't seem human, and that was scary to me because since I found out werewolves existed, I hoped that was it and that we didn't have to deal with any more creatures that looked human.

"Fine. If thou cannot speak to a lady properly, then I shall release the beast inside of me and wreck havoc on thee." Okay, she was going a bit overboard.

Suddenly, there was laughter. A woman's voice was laughing, and so was a guy's. I guess the pitch black figure was a male, but the question still remained on just what the hell was he. The laughing came to a stop, and the night was once again quiet. "Sorry, but your accent is amusing." The woman's voice said with a touch of humor still in her voice.

"Just who are you?" Tera asked while crossing her arms.

"My, she's straight down to business isn't she?" The male's voice came, all soft and sinister. "Hmm, hey Sister, her body was just as yours before your Turn."

"Perhaps, except she has a little more scars than I had." The woman responded. Tera's scars were from her time in her old town. She was a werewolf and had a lot of fighting going on, so a few extra scars were inevitable to her. The only thing is that her scars made her tan skin beautiful.

Suddenly, the woman's figure was standing in front of Tera. She moved so fast. Tera couldn't react before the woman struck Tera, causing her to fly through the air into the woods like a superhero movie. My heart dropped because she had done that to Tera, but it sunk even lower when I realized that I was now alone with these two monsters.

The woman, from the light of my headlights, had short, black hair with streaks of green and blue in it. She wore a black sweatshirt with her thumbs poking through the sleeves and dark jeans. I couldn't quite see what kind of shoes she was wearing. Not like I was worried about that, just the fact that she was able to ragdoll my girlfriend.

She smiled through the dark and I could see the white teeth she had. They glowed white through the black outdoors. "My, you're kind of cute." She said. I had reached under my seat and grabbed the silver dagger that Flower had gave me when Tera had first moved here. I kept it with me all the time, and this time I'm glad I did.
