It was early in the morning, and the air was cutting. I had on my class hoodie while walking to my car. I got in shivering off the cold and quickly switching the car on to start heating up. I checked my phone and saw a message from Sage. "Where are you?"

I sent a message back. "On my way now." We were all, the guys, meeting at Sage's house to have an all guy day. There were things you don't talk about in the presence of females, and today we'd have those talks. Well, either those or be normal as usual and find ways to entertain ourselves.

It didn't take long to make my way to Sage's house, maybe about less than 5 minutes. I pulled into his yard since his driveway had Kai's car in it. I got out in the cold and basically jogged towards the door. I walked in and was greeted by a certain fuzz ball.

Sage had a white Ragdoll-mix cat. Perseus was his name, but we called him Percy. He was a friendly cat. He always enjoyed visitors, and was like a dog when he would come and greet anyone who came through the front door.

I reached down and scratched him behind his ears. "Hey Percy." I told him. "You doing okay, furry boy?" He meowed in response and purred in response to being petted. I laughed and picked him up.

I walked into the living room with my hands filled with a very furry cat. Sage was laying with his legs across the side of a recliner chair while Terry and Kai sat on the couch. Sage was strumming his guitar, Kai was reading a novel he always carried around, and Terry was typing away with something on his phone.

"'Bout time you got here." Sage told me. "We need a fourth on our team."

I put the cat down and sat in the other chair beside Sage. "You mean over the phone?"

"Terry has been bitching since he's got here." Kai said without looking up from his book.

"Hey!" Terry spoke up with an angry look. "It's not my fault he's late all the time."

"We were here for five minutes before you started. Give him time." Kai responded.

I laughed and pulled out my cell phone. Kai dropped the book and Sage his guitar, and they both pulled their phones out as well. We always liked playing online mobile games. It was our usual thing. First this, then a little TV, and then we just improvise after.

A while had passed before we had gotten done gaming. Well, more like we had a mental breakdown. "Who the hell is this guy?" Sage exploded. "Shadow_Hunter87? He's obviously hacking or something. There's no way he's this good."

I almost pulled my hair out. "I've never actually seen someone pull a 360 no-scope, but I never expected it to be over a phone." I said, placing my phone in my lap.

After raging, we went into Sage's kitchen and started looking for snacks to eat. Kai wanted chips so he grabbed a bag. Terry and Sage wanted some ramen noodles, so we stayed in there and watched the water in the pot boil and Sage put one pack in.

It didn't take long for the noodles to be done, and he poured the noodles in a bowl, water and all, and let Terry decide how much water he wanted before pouring the flavor pouch in. Sage grabbed another pack of ramen and repeated the process.

"Jesus Sage, aren't you hot?" Terry asked.

Sage turned his head slightly at the sudden question. "Huh? What do you mean?" He asked.

"Lately you've been wearing a lot of long sleeve stuff. Like I get it's cold out, but you usually don't wear long sleeve shirts. Plus it's hot from cooking, and your air conditioning is on because of the cold outside. You must be scorching."

Sage only let out a snort of laughter. "Nah. I just want to try new things, that's all."

He went back to cooking and dropped the noodles in the water. Something was off about that. Sage doesn't just change his appearance very often just like that. He was wearing a dark red sweater, and that was NOT Sage's style whatsoever.
