Malice sat alone on the same stone bench she had been lying on previously, her head in her hands as the memory of Die smashing the only image she had of her beloved into nothing but empty shards.

She let out a sigh as she raised her head to look at the starry sky, unaware of the 2 demons approaching her.

"Poor girl..." Said one with a long scar down his face in an exaggerated sigh.

"Poor, pretty girl..." Cooed another with black eyes mockingly.

"She has a very serious problem."

"If only there were something we could do..."

"But there is something, Blank..."

Malice looked up at them, frowning. "Who - who are you two? I've never see you before..."

"Don't be scared." The scar faced one grinned.

"We represent someone who can help you, right Xyler?" Smirked the stranger named Blank.

"Yes. Someone who could make all your dreams come true."

"I don't understand..." Malice said, looking at one to the other.

"Darkiplier has great powers." Xyler said with a snicker.

Her eyes widened. She had heard many a tale about the nefarious, exiled demon. He must have been seriously bad news if Die had banished him.

"Why, that's - I couldn't..." She stuttered. "No! Get out of here! Leave me alone!"

"It was only a suggestion." Blank shrugged.

"Looks like you won't be with your precious human again..." Xyler said as they began to walk away.

That caught her attention.

"Wait!" She called after them, making them look at her with a slight smirk on their lips. "How did...how did you...Never mind...How can Darkiplier help me?"

☹☹☹

"Poor Malice..." Anti frowned, his head hanging as he and Kill went to search for her.

"I didn't mean to tell..." Kill sighed. "It was an accident. I-"

He gasped suddenly when he noticed Malice walking with two demons he did not want to see in Die's Kingdom. Grabbing Anti by the shoulder, he teleported them both to where she and the other demons were.

"Malice! Where are you going? What are you doing with these-"

"I'm going to see Darkiplier." She said coldly.

"What?!" Kill wheezed as he and Anti exchanged looks of horror. "No! Malice, he's-"

"Why don't you go tell Die?!" She spat. "You're good at that."

A look of hurt crossed his face as he watched them walk away. Once they were a safe distance away, he grabbed Anti by the arm.

"Come on!"

ღღღღღღღ

After about a mile and a half of walking, Xyler and Blank had finally led her to an ominous looking manor house made entirely of onyx.

Malice couldn't help but stare at it.

It was in the middle of nowhere...the door was wide open...

"This way." They said in unison, gesturing for her to step inside first.

Taking a deep breath, Malice entered the manor house.

It was just as dismal inside with a creaky wooden floor and bare wainscoting walls.

Xyler and Blank walked around her, leading the way towards another open door to a room that was illuminated with silvery light.

Malice followed cautiously until she was a foot over the threshold.

"Come in. Come in, my dear..." Greeted a smooth, baritone voice that echoed slightly.

Her eyes landed on a man, a tad taller than her with gray skin and jet black hair that hung over his left eye. He wore a charcoal suit with a white dress shirt underneath.

An aura illuminated a blue and red hue around him, making him appear more ominous.

He stood with his back to a dark pensieve. In his hand he held a crystal brandy glass filled with a golden liquid. He took a sip from it as he looked at her with a sinister smile.

"We mustn't lurk in doorways. It's rude. Might I know your name?"

Malice stepped further into the room as Xyler and Blank stood against the wall behind her.

"It's Malice." She answered, unaware of Kill and Anti peering from behind the door frame.

"What a lovely name..." He grinned, placing down the brandy glass on a nearby side table before approaching her.

"Now then, you're here because you have a thing for this human. This Harry fellow. Well, my sweet, the solution to your problem is simple. The only way to get what you want is to become a human yourself."

She took in a silent breath. "Can you do that?"

He let out a laugh. "My Dear, of course I can! It's what I live for; to help unfortunate demons like yourself. Especially to those who have revealed themselves in the mortal world..."

Malice blinked at him. "What? How did I-"

"Did King PewDIEpie not tell you?" His grin widened. "When a demon falls in love with a human, they can be seen by mortals for a short time. But do you know why humans cannot see demons at all?"

She shook her head.

"Souls." He whispered. "Demons do not have souls, therefore we cannot be seen. It's also how we survive in this world. If a human were to set foot here, however, they would perish like a fish on land."

"How come Die has never told me these things?"

Darkiplier made a shrug. "It may have something to do with our...falling out. We had a slight disagreement which led to my exile. But don't let that put you off."

That sentence made her fight down a gulp.

"I admit that in the past I've been...quite nasty." Darkiplier continued. "And they weren't kidding when they called me, well, a monster, but you'll find that now I've mended all my ways. I've repented and seen the light.

"I fortunately know a little magic like yourself, and here lately, please don't laugh, but I use it on behalf of the miserable, lonely and depressed who come flocking to me crying: spells, Darkiplier, please! And do I help them? Of course, I do!"

"Now..." He smiled, circling around her. "It's happened once or maybe twice, but someone couldn't pay the price. I'm afraid that I had to... rake them across the coals."

He placed his hands on her arms from behind before leaning over her shoulder. "I may have had the odd moan, but on the whole I've been a saint."

Darkiplier placed his arm around her and guided them towards the pensieve.

"Now, here's the deal. I will make you a soul that will turn you into a human for three days. Got that? Three days."

Malice nodded.

"Now this is important. Before the sun sets on the third day, you've got to get Harry to fall in love with you. That is, he's got to kiss you. But not just any kiss! The kiss of true love. If he does kiss you before the sun sets on the third day, you'll remain human- permanently. But if he doesn't, you will turn back into a demon..."

He moved so he stood in front of her. Holding her chin with a thumb and forefinger, he lifted her gaze so she was made to look into his obsidian eyes.

"And you will belong to me."
