You stepped out of the red,ruby ship carefully and felt the feeling of the fresh air and a cool breeze nipping at your skin. The blue sky and its fluffy , white clouds reflected into your honey brown eyes and the sun tingled on your skin. The chirping of the birds and the greenery . It was Beautiful .It was refreshing to be back .It felt amazing . You really missed this. You squealed with joy.You looked up ahead to find a neon sign that read "car wash" on it and looked around to see the different surroundings. You stumbled weakly but still managed somehow to walk towards the car wash with curiousity, Like a moth attracted to its light source.

When you got closer to the car wash your eyes attention had been drawn to a poster that had writing in big ,bold , fat letters and read "Beach city palooza" .You continued to read on with excitement .New opportunities. You're Finally free. You began to think and smiled to yourself . It's exciting for you . There was going to be a festival here in beach city where anyone could perform an act of any sort for entertainment .Sounds fun.You thought about performing a song , the one you had been writing silently in your head while you were on homeworld. You wanted to let all your emotions out . Music was your way of expressing yourself . Music was in your blood and the music's rhythm beated in sync to your heart beat. You and music were inseparable.

You don't have your guitar though and you would need to use it to perform. Your lilac,electric guitar  was stored in your gem and you couldn't pull it out as to the fact that your gem was cracked. Maybe you could find someone to borrow a guitar from. A unknown voice said "hello uhm... can I help you " from behind. It had starlted you and made you jump, you turned around . It was a man with long brown hair and a off tan. You spoke softly "oh..uhm no thank you just looking at this flyer, but thanks for asking " you then gave a shy,weak smile because of the pain you were still in."Do you work at this car wash ?"you asked

"I own it actually" he said proudly and then looked surprised "you're a gem ...and also a human?, " he said gazing at your beautiful,colourful with the galaxy trapped inside it but also  cracked gem. " I'm Greg , Whats your name and are you okay you're  in quite a bad condition ... can you tell me where you got those scars?" He asked in a mortified voice at the look of your badly beaten skin ."I've  never seen you around here , where are your parents ?"

"I never knew there were more half human gems" he said shocked
.You frowned and questioned "uhm its y/n but, wait ..how do you know of the gem kind ?" He then replied "Theres a few gems actually staying here , they have decided and are here to protect the Earth, they are known as the crystal gems"he spoke in a tone of admiration.

"There are still gems here on earth?... I-I never knew" you said. Gems like you . The thought comforted you." I'm from Earth just not exactly this area but,I was captured by homeworld and I somehow escaped ..I wasn't exactly treated by homeworld in a very humane way ..and my father-" you took a deep breathe to control yourself from crying .
"My father was murdered by homeworld " your chest tightened at the words.
"My mother gave up her life form to be me .. so I never got the chance to meet her " you spoke softly .

The man's face became saddened at your story. "I'm so sorry "he said as he layed a hand on your shoulder , you winced because of your bruises."thank you.. " you croaked holding back tears. "Could I ask why they captured you?" He began to clean some wheels with a sponge trying to change the topic.
"They wanted to... shatter me because of how powerful my gem is"
"Thats terrible I'm not surprised by them wanting to do that ...Its quite a beautiful gem , never seen anything like it.. what's it called?" He asked
"Well my mom went by the name Galicia ... but it's known as the galaxy stone "
