"I'll see you after school, mom!" Once in a while I called my aunt mom. Sometimes it just slips, but, today I was just in the mood.
"Talk to Evan!" She yelled back. "See ya!" I walked out of the house and made my way to the school.

I closed my locker. Usually, Evan and I would talk by our lockers. Today, he was no where to be found. I looked around, but, couldn't see him anywhere. I heart sank. Not because he didn't show up to school, because I missed the perfect opportunity to talk to him. Where could he be?
"Hey." Someone said behind me. "I'm sorry, about what happened." The voice was familiar.
I turned around as my eyes met Blake's. He looked at me. His eyes were filled with passion as he took a step back away from my locker.
"Sorry if I'm standing too close. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable." His voice was soft, but, apologizing. I don't want anything to do with him. "I feel really bad about what I did. I don't know..." He scratched the back of his neck.
"I-it's fine." I walked past him towards my first class of the day. I didn't get far before I heard his voice again.
"Wait..." He called after me. I turned around and looked in his direction.
"Blake, I said its fine..." I told him slightly annoyed. My next class was a bit far and I rather not be late."Can we hang out sometime? As friends...?" He asked. His cheeks grew red as he shoved his hands in his pockets.
"I don't think...thats not a good idea." I finally answered. I continued walking.
As I got closer to my next class, I looked back towards my locker to see Blake, gone.
