Jannabelle's P.O.V

I pulled away quickly, slightly frustrated about the interruption. My aunt doesn't come home till 11 and Evan is already here...

"I'll get it." Evan pecked my lips once more and got up to get the door. I sat on the couch, with a smile spread across my face.

It faded quickly.

Evan's P.O.V

I opened the door. A slim figure stood in the doorway.

"Is Jan here?" A very familiar female voice said.

"Amelia? What are you doing here?" I asked. I closed the door behind me and faced her. When I could finally see her face, her eyes were red and puffy from crying. Her hair flew in all kinds of directions as she was dressed in a wrinkly t-shirt and sweatpants.

"I need to talk to you and Jan." Her voice was shaky, and raspy. "May I come in?" She coughed roughly.

"I don't think that's a good idea." I replied. Amelia knew better, but, she let the anger get the best of her... and Jan.

"Look..." Her eyes started to water. "Just t-... tell Jan, I'm... I'm really sorry." She began to cry uncontrollably. Tears ran smoothly down her pale face. Her breath became quick and short as she attempted to stop crying, but, couldn't stop the tears.

I placed my both arms around her shoulders, pulling her into me. Her frail, skinny body shook as she broke down. Jan getting hurt must've really hurt her too.

"I don't think Jan's still upset with you." I cooed, gently stoking her hair. Skinny arms wrapped around my torso. Her tear stained face was pressed against my bare chest as she cried softly.

"I-I.. I don't blame her." She said finally calming down. "She can't even walk to the door to talk to me. She can't even look at my face." She mumbled into my chest.

"I'll let her know you stopped by." I told her, rubbing her back.

Amelia nodded and finished wiping her tears. She seemed calm down and was finally able to let a few words escape her mouth.

"I'm really...really sorry Evan." Her body still shook slightly as she took a deep breath and faced me.

"Don't worry about it. It's no big deal." I lied and smiled down at her.

"Thanks."

Amelia smiled back widely.
