Amelia's P.O.VIt's Thursday night. Jan and I still haven't talked but Evan and I have. I finished up some homework and sighed.
What now?
"Amelia!" My mother called from the kitchen. "Get down here!"
I hurried down the stairs into the kitchen.
"What now?"
"We're missing things we need around the house. Could you stop by the store and pick up a few things? There's a list on the counter." She untied her apron and placed it on the counter top.
"Sure." I shrugged walking towards the closet and slipping on a light jacket.

"Alright. I'll be back then." I slipped on a light jacket. I recall where the local grocery store is, because we needed a few things around the house.
I opened the front door and felt the cool outside air.
Amelia's P.O.V
I opened the door to the grocery store. I roamed around finding the few things on the list. I searched through store looking for toothpaste which was the last thing on the list.
Finally, I picked up a small tube of toothpaste, but, eventually dropped it on the floor being the cluts I always am.
As I bent over to pick up the paste, a small voice behind me spoke.
"Excuse me." The voice spoke from behind me. I stood up straight looking back. I scooted to the left, getting out of his way.
"I- I'm.." I was speechless. I faced tall, muscular, perfectly built boy. He smiled, revealing perfectly straight teeth.
"Now that I've got someone's attention, do you know where I could find any toothpaste?" His heavy accent was noticeable, he spoke slowly and pronounced his words perfectly.
"I...uh-" I somewhat pointed to the section they were in.
I could't speak. Someone so perfect focusing his attention on you is a bit overwhelming.
"Thank you." He grabbed a tube.
"Your welcome." I managed to say.
"Hey, do I know you?" He asked. "You look quite familiar."
His deep blue eyes met mine.
