Percy stormed into the cabin.
"Annabeth. What are you doing here?" He said confused, and out of breath.
I hid the test behind my back in the hope he wouldn't see it."Nothing important." I said trying to cover my lie as well as possible. He couldn't find out. Not like this.
"Hello Piper." He said unenthusiastically.
"Hey Percy, how are you doing?" She gleamed.
"Not too great. Annabeth, Chiron has asked to meet with us both in the big house. " He sounded concerned.
"Oh.... ok." I whispered just loud enough for him to hear me.
***
"I'm sorry to tell you this, and so soon after the wedding. A satyr has discovered a new demigod in Brooklyn.I'll give you the address. Again, I'm really sorry."Chiron told us.I felt all of my blood rush to my feet. What if something happens to Percy, or to the baby? I wouldn't be able to live with the thought that someone I love or could have loved is gone forever.

We packed our bags and grabbed supplies.Everyone came to say goodbye, then we were off.

About an hour later, Percy gently woke me up from my sleep. Gods, I felt terrible. I really wanted to throw up, but Percy would think that was really suspicious, so I tried to act normal. I was just so angry at everyone. Chiron, the gods, my dad, my stepmom, this weird kid we're getting, Percy, I just wanted to cry, then laugh, then scream. WHY is this happening to me.
"Are you ok Annabeth? You don't look so good." Percy said concerned.
"I think it's something I ate, or didn't eat. I'm starving. Let's go to Mc Donald's! Or Burger King. Tartarus, let's go to both!" I said seriously craving burgers.
"We need to get this child as soon as possible Annabeth. Did you forget?" He said.
"Right. I did forget. Let's go." I said trying to sound joyful, but inside my body was screaming 'please give me a burger!'

We walked in to a massive school. The architecture was amazing, like it was built one hundred years ago. Obviously a privet school. A few girls dressed in blue and navy tartan skirts with white button up collar shirts walked down the corridor. This place was fancy, and all fancy places are fishy, and it being a school, it will end up being set on fire, or blown up!

"May I help you today?" A well dressed woman said
"Oh yes. We are looking for a Freya Kelly. We are her god parents." Percy said smoothly.
"I'm sorry but I don't believe you Perseus Jackson. Oh and Annabeth Chase, or should I say Jackson. Congratulations! I am sorry but now I'm going to have to tie you up in the basement and eat you pretty lady, and the package, whilst Percy watches. What could be better?" She said mockingly.
"Well killing you for a start." Percy smirked. How could he be joking at a time like this, and what did she mean by 'package' did she mean Freya, or...... the baby. Suddenly the woman lanced at Percy whilst hissing. It dawned on me. We were facing Lamia. She was wearing a snakeskin mini skirt and boots, and if you looked close enough, you could see her slit touch and slightly elongated pupils.
Percy uncapped Riptide and took a giant swing at her but she ducked and suddenly there was a huge thud and everything went dark.

I was in a dark room when I awoke. The floor was cold and damp. The mossy walls shimmered in the dim candle light. A soft voice gently called my name.
"Percy, is that you?" I squeezed out. My head was thumping and my body felt like I had just fallen down six flights of stairs.
"Yeah. Are you ok?" He whispered
"There's something I have to tell you. Yesterday I learnt that our whole life was going to change, and I didn't know when to tell you because I was afraid that you would be annoyed, but we might not make it out of here alive so, I'm pregnant Percy. I'm sorry. I know that you wanted to do so many things before we settled down. To do things you can only do when you are young. And I have ruined everything." I cried. Those might have been my last few moments, and all I would have remembered was crying over my mistake. I thought Percy was going to shout, or cry, but instead he smiled, his beautiful white teeth shining.
"That's amazing! And we are definitely going to make it out of here." I just wanted to run over to him and hold him in my arms forever, but when I tried to move huge metal chains held me back. The more I tried to free myself, the tighter they would get.
"What are we supposed to do." I asked
"You're the daughter of Athena, you do something. You know how my plans only just get us out alive!" He said. Suddenly a weak voice from the corner of the room said "What's happening? Where am I?" Tears started running down her face. I felt so bad.
"What's your name?" I asked softly.
"Freya Kelly." She stated. The girl we came to get. I knew that lamia was going to eat her first. Gods. I needed help so badly.
"I'm Annabeth, and this is Percy." I introduced us
"Hey." Percy said
"How are you guys so calm now? We are literally chained to the walls of a dark spooky basement." She said angrily.
"We've had worse." Percy said not so sarcastically.
"Percy. Aim Riptide at your chains then uncap it." I commanded. The chains fell to the floor with a huge clang, and I heard someone shout from the end of the corridor.
"Untie Freya first. She is more important." He immediately did what I said, because he knows I am always right. And just as he untied Freya two huge men stormed into the room.

They were a lot smarter than I thought they would be, because they knew that I was the only one that couldn't leave but Percy could easily set me free. So one came and held me down whilst the other one guarded the door. They knew that Percy wouldn't leave without me and they knew that Freya wasn't strong enough and didn't have enough training to take down the man at the door on her own. But what they didn't know was how amazing Percy is at fighting. He stormed at the first own with such speed, you would have thought he he torpedo shoes. The man went to grab at him but he slid underneath and sliced him right across the chest. The huge man burst into dust. The second man had already started coming towards us, but Percy had enough time to cut me free. I ran up to Freya and held her tight to me so that she knew that I wouldn't hurt her. Surprisingly she hugged me back. Percy successfully killed the second man so we sprinted as fast as our legs could take us.

We were just about to exit the school when a swarm of other men, just like the last ones, circled us. There was no way out of this one. They could easily just jump us and squish us to death, but before they could do anything, Freya did the most incredible thing. She pushed her hands out in front of her and started chanting something really quietly. Then all Tartarus broke loose. Fire was everywhere. And I'm not exaggerating. It was literally everywhere. The fire alarm was so loud, I couldn't think at all. All I did was grab Freya and Percy then ran. For the first time, it wasn't Percy's fault a school burnt down!

The car ride home was quite strange. Freya told us about how her dad Hephaestus, came to visit her once and told her to go to camp half blood, but she could never leave that place. Now that I saw her in the light, I could see that she was very pretty. She was quite small, with pixie like ears and a cute smile. She had beautiful dark blue eyes and short blond curly hair that stoped when it reached her chin. She had adorable freckles along the bridge of her nose to her cheeks and a small birth mark on her shoulder that looked like a flame. She told us that she was nine years old, and had been moved around allot, but could go to fancy schools because her mum was a world famous pizza chef, and owned a chain of Italian pizza restaurants around the globe. She was always looking for new places to set up shop, just long enough to settle in then they would have to move again. I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Her whole life she never had proper friends because they always moved to fast to make any proper connections.

When we arrived back at camp Will and Nico came and greeted us. They had just been taking a walk when they saw us pull up. There was an immediate connection between them and Freya. I just knew from that moment, Freya had some lovely substitute Parents!

"Annabeth. I think we should talk in private about the baby." Percy said calmly.
"I agree. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before we left." I apologised, and he hugged me. We went back to his cabin and had a really long conversation about everything. Oh my Gods. I love him so much!
