It all started with a proposal

We tell EVERYONE!

After the wedding, some of the Athena cabin helped me to design and build a beautiful two story cabin for me and Percy, since we are now married, Chiron said that we could live together, but I couldn't live in the Poseidon cabin, so we built our own. Chiron said it was fine, as we would be staying here, and teaching in our free time for a few more years before we move to new rome.

Percy came downstairs with his messy hair hanging in his eyes. I stood up and brushed it out of his eyes. he tried to say something, but i cut him off with a kiss.

"You haven't brushed your teeth seaweed brain."

"Good morning to you too wise girl." he groaned sarcastically. He slumped down over the table, and i grabbed him some cereal.

Just as I put the cereal in front of Percy I heard a knock at the door. I quickly skipped to the door and opened it.

"Hey Annabeth! It's uncle Leo and the squad!" He announced. He didn't know that he was actually going to be uncle Leo.

"H...Hey Leo. Come in." I said. The rest of the seven were behind him and I welcomed them too. Why were they all here so early in the morning?

" Get settled in guys. PERCY! PLEASE GET UP AND SAY HI TO OUR GUESTS." I yelled.

"Heeyyy." He said, with his still on the counter and a mouth full of cereal. It already felt like I was looking after a kid!

"There was a party and I wasn't invited?" Thalia said as she walked through the door.

"Thalia! What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised to see her.

"Just here for a few days." She answered.

"Annabeth!" Freya squealed as she ran through the door, followed by Nico and Will.

"Why are you all here?" I asked. I heard a thud, but I realised it was just Percy's spoon falling out of his mouth as he slept. GODS! Why is it so difficult?

"Well... Freya told us that she overheard you and Percy talking when you collected her last week. She said that it was important news that she didn't think we knew. 

Oh....NO! She must have overheard me and Percy talking about the pregnancy.

"Well.....ummm..." Percy cut me off. finally he had woken up. the big news also seemed to make him even more awake!

"We have something to tell everyone, but I don't know if we are ready yet." He said.

" Don't tell me you are becoming Gods, because if you are, I need to pick a bone with Zeus because I NEED to be the God of good looks." Leo said and he pulled a weird face witch Hazel giggled at, and Frank looked a bit afraid. Who knew that such a big guy could be intimidated by a Latino elf?

"No!" Percy said." Guess again!"

"No. Please don't guess. WE need to tell you."  I looked at Percy, and he nodded in agreement.

"We are pregnant!" we said in unison.

There was a mix of emotions. Piper squealed and hugged Jason. Hazel jumped up with glee. Will looked excited but Nico looked like he wanted to smash something. I would have thought that was scary, then I saw Thalia. she stood, with a blank look on her face, then, she ran at Percy, screaming.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER? YOU ARE A DISGUSTING, HORRIBLE, DISGRACEFUL, TERRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A MAN." 

Everyone quickly ran to pull them apart, because they knew that one of them would probably end up dead(Percy).

"CONSIDER YOURSELF DEAD JACKSON. Congratulations Annie!" She said.... politely?

"So I am going to be an uncle?" Leo asked.

" Yes Leo. you can be an uncle."

"YESSSSSS!" He shouted with joy.

After hours of talking, everyone decided to leave. It was about three in the afternoon, so I decided to sit down with Percy and watch a movie. I snuggled up to him, and buried my head into his chest.

 I woke up to the smell of blueberry pancakes. I got up to see what it was, and to my suprise, Percy was cooking.

"Hey Baby." He said cheerfully.

"Hey seaweed brain." I replied smiling.

" No cute nickname for me?" He did his famous Percy pout, which quickly turned to a smile.

"How about I call you Percy pants, or maybe sweet cheeks, or maybe..." He shut me up with a kiss.

" You haven't brushed your teeth Wise girl."

"Hold up, that's my line. YOU just stole my line! You don't want to mess with a pregnant women Perce." I threatened. He handed me some pancakes, just how I like them. Not drowned in syrup, unlike his!

"What do you think about Charlie?" he said out of the blue.

"Charlie who?" I asked confused.

"For the baby's name."

"Um.."

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have freaked you out. We don't even know the gender yet. I'm so stupid. I'm sorry." He apologised.

"No Percy. I love that you are prepared. This is better than I ever thought you could have reacted. And I like Charlie. It's a nice name. Why did you choose it?" 

"After Charles Beckendorf. I would be proud if our child turned out to be anything like him." Percy started to tear up, so I went and hugged him.

"You need to stop thinking about it Percy, and stop blaming yourself. you did everything you could at the time." Thinking back to Beckendorf's death made me think of Luke. I could never love luke like I love Percy, but Luke and Thalia were my family for such a long time. I can't just forget about that. Tears started to run down my cheeks. Thinking back to the war made me think about all the people that we lost, then my tears were uncontrollable. Percy had to try and comfort me. 

"I'm going to be a terrible mom!" I cried.

"Don't you ever say that again Annabeth. you know that isn't true. you are the most amazing, smart, wonderful, responsible woman I know. You are the only person that I know that would be a better mom than my mom, and that's saying something! You have tasted her blue cookies right?" I laughed at that bit. Sally was an amazing mom, and Percy saying I would be better than her is a huge compliment!

We ended up just spending the rest of the day talking about our past and our future together. It was amazing. I know I say this alot, but I really mean it! I really love Percy!
