"Aww, little Uriah!" Zeke coos to Uriah, I'm still undoubtedly in shock that he got some randomer pregnant.
"Zeke!" Uriah whines. "What the hell am I going to do?"
"Get her to do a test." Zeke says biting a cookie.
"What?" He says back eyeing Zeke.
"You know, that funny thing, a DNA test..." Zeke gives Uriah and expectant look.
"Zeke! That's no help...She probably won't want to see me again..."
"There's always an attempt avaliable." I blank out of their conversation after a while, bored. I start to get baby cramps like I did with Tamra but much worse. I wince a little.
"Are you okay, Tris? Do you want me to get Four?" Zeke asks, I shake my head.
"No...," I wince and again and can't help it. "I'm fine..."
"Tris, are you sure? You look...in pain..." Uriah asks leaning into the table.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm actually going..." I smile not so convincingly. "Back to our apartment..." I rise up, clutching my stomach. "See you later..." I walk pff to the apartment. I know Four told Zeke and Uriah to look after me while he worked all day but I don't want them to panic and get Tobias for no reason. I get inside the apartment, slipping off my shoes and grab a glass of water. I drinking slower than usual and I look down. My feet are wet. I'm in labour...I scream and drop the glass. It shatters and the glass surrounds me. I'm trapped in a shield of glass...I scratch the surface of my stomach skin as I grasp my stomach in pain. I move my feet and end slashing them with the piece of glass lingering on the floor. Hot tears fly off my cheeks, wetting the floor. I scream again in pain.
"Four!" I yell, my lungs burn from my shouts. "Uriah!!" I stand and the glass, ignoring the stinging pain rising in my feet. The digs further in my skin as I hobble over tonthe apartment door. I open it and yell. "Zeke!! Uriah!!" I shout as loud as I can, causing my stomach to hurt even more. I hear the familiar slapping of shoes and I see Zeke and Uriah sprinting to me.
"Tris!!!" Uriah yells, I clench onto the door frame. "Is it the baby?!" He says as he stops in front of me, bending to look at my face. I nod, breathing in and out extremely quick. "Tris, we need you to hang in there...Zeke, get Four." He says to me calmly, in response, I screech. I clutch Uriah's shoulder and the door frame for support.
"Uriah!!" I scream and stand on my tiptoes.
"Tris, calm down, Four is coming-" I dig my nails sharply into his shoulder, he winces.
"Sorry..." I say out of breath. I hear shoes slapping against the floor again, I see Zeke trailing behind a stressed Tobias. I left Tamra with Christina for the day, and now I'm glad I did. It would terrify her if she saw me like this... I scream again.
"Tris!!" Tobias reaches me and pushes Uriah out of the way. He throws his arm under my armpit helping me walk. And we go to the hospital wing.
+++
I breathe heavily and quickly.
"It's a boy!" The doctor tells me, I lean my head back on the pillow behind me and laugh. My little boy.
