After class you hit the locker room for a long hot shower to help relax your muscles. You still don't want to get in the hot tub or Jacuzzi because of the baby until a doctor tells you it's ok. Finally, you turn off the shower to dry off and get dressed. Once completed you head to the office. Through the glass wall you can see Sam and Jeff pouring over the information Jeff has put together.

Mimi: Hey, what's going on?

Sam: Hi, honey. Jeff was just showing me what he has found so far.

Mimi: Ok, and why is he giving you an update on that information?

You can sense something fishy is going on and Jeff won't meet your gaze, he looks at the computer with a sheepish look on his face, before turning to you.

Jeff: Mimi, I found that Mr. Jacobs was skimming funds off and directly depositing them into his own personal account. June, from Claude and Sons law firm, emailed me copies of Jacobs bank accounts, 20 minutes ago, from the time he was here and the corroborate everything. It appears he stole about $40,000 while he was manager for that month.

Mimi: That explains why he didn't want anyone in the office while he wasn't here. So, what is the next step? He's already in jail for attacking me.

Jeff: Well, Sam has already contacted the prosecutor's office to add embezzlement to the list of charges he is being tried for.

Mimi: Ok, why are you telling Sam all this about the gym? There is a law firm and management company who are handling all this.

Jeff: It would be better if he tells you.

Mimi: Sam, can I talk to you in private for a minute?

Sam: Sure, babe. Let's go to the classroom, it's empty, right? Jeff, please continue working.

Jeff: Sure, boss.

Your head snaps around at him as Sam puts his arm around you and leads you from the office. Once you are alone, he pulls you in for a mind-blowing steamy kiss. For a few moments you melt into him and give into his kiss, but then you pull away and demand an explanation.

Mimi: Why did he call you boss? Why are you so interested in the books of the gym I work at?

Sam: Ok, so I didn't want you to find out this way, but I'm the investor who bought into this gym. It's my management company that is trying to run it. Unfortunately, the silent partner keeps sticking HER big nose in and keeping me from turning this place into a profits gold mine. Also, Jeff is an accountant for my company, which is why he's here and I trust him.

Stunned you try to take a step back, but his arms are still wrapped around your waist like a steel band.

Mimi: You? Why didn't you say something yesterday? And why have you been trying to find a replacement for me since you bought this place out in the beginning?

Sam: Yesterday, all I could think about was you and hot incredibly hot you were in that dress. Ok, I was really trying to figure out all the ways to get you out of that dress and into my bed permanently. As for as trying to replace you, I was really just trying to lighten your workload, so we could spend more time together without you being exhausted.

Mimi: Really? Is that the only reason?

Sam: Ok, so maybe I was trying to get you to the point where you would have to depend on me again like you use to. I miss the way it was between us, my heart. I wish, oh how I wish my family had never moved away. I truly believe we would be working on our second or third baby by now if we had stayed. I guess I was trying to get things back to where they were when we were in our happy place together.

Mimi (tears in eyes): Oh, Sam, I want us to find our happy place again together this time.

You lean into him and place your forehead on his chest, sighing deeply to stem the water works threatening to escape your eyes. Gaining a modicum of control, you pull back and glare at him.

Mimi: Don't think this gets you off the hook for not telling me who you were earlier.

Sam: Oh, and when were you going to tell me who you really are in regards to Joe's Gym, my love?

You can tell by the look in his eyes that he already knows the truth behind the question.

Mimi: So how did you figure it out?

Sam: Jeff works freelance along with full time for me, but I wasn't positive until I saw the Claude and Sons law firm logo on the paperwork Jeff pulled from the printer today. Jeff said he got called by them to come check out the embezzlement. Trust me, when I say I am very familiar with that logo, considering how many times they have contacted me in the last few weeks. Seems like the silent partner was having a lot of issues with the changes I was trying to make. Anyway, Jeff told me that you had given him a guest login for the banking account online and only I and the silent partner have permissions to create those. Also, Kyle called and told me June called him to give us a heads up about the books, and he said you seem to know way more than a normal employee should about this gym. Even one who was like a daughter to the owner and trusted with vital information.
