Sam's POV
Sam: I will never get tired of this sight.
I lean against the wall watching my lovely wife breastfeed our newborn daughter. I move closer so that I run my finger over her tiny hand as it's splayed out on her Mommy's breast. Leaning down I steal a quick kiss on the top of her precious little head, being careful not to disrupt her meal.
Sam: Gosh, my heart, I can't get over how tiny she is. Was Evan ever really that small once?
Mimi: No, he was a huge baby that is why I had such a bear of a time pushing him out of me. Don't you remember I threatened to rip your dick off and club you with it if you ever tried to touch me again during his birth?
I quickly move in and give my wonderful, beautiful wife a lingering kiss.
Sam: Yes, I do. I have to say I'm glad you changed your mind or my princess wouldn't be here now, would she? You know I fall deeper in love with you each and every day, right?
Mimi: I know, it's hard to believe that 3 years has passed since our second wedding. I've loved every minute with you by my side.
****Flashback****
Thinking back I can remember it all as if it was yesterday. Watching her dad walk her down the aisle to me yet again, mentally comparing how she looked then as a little girl and now all grown up. Even though some of the participants in the wedding part had changed and there were way more people in the chairs then just our parents, we kept the ceremony almost identical to what we had so many years ago.
Once your dad finally said that you may now kiss your bride, you couldn't hold back the shout of pure joy from escaping your lips before they crashed down on hers. SHE IS MINE!!! Mimi was finally yours now and forever. She grabbed on to your neck when you tried to pull away and brought your lips back to hers for the most perfect kiss in history.
The reception was once again held in her families' backyard and the must have menu items was BBQ hot dogs along with other items the caterers brought along. You dance your first dance together finally, and Marissa catches the bouquet when Mimi throws it. When you cut the cake, your wife playfully shoves her piece into your face and your make her lick the icing off your chin. You then look at your gorgeous bride and she was glowing, you don't think could be happier than you are at this very moment.
Several months later, you are rushing her to the hospital while she screams about doing bodily harm to you for making her suffer like this. Thankfully, she calms down the minute they place your newborn son on her chest and she looks tiredly at his little face.
Mimi: Honey, look what we made. He's perfect. I love you so much, Sammy Waters. Thank you for making me a Mommy.
Sam: I love you, Mimi Waters. Thank you for giving me a son.
Tears rush down your cheeks as she leans up and kisses you gently, promising that she didn't mean all those mean things she said earlier. You chuckle a bit as you stare down at the face of your first born son and you realize "Life is good." After you cut the cord they take him to get him cleaned up, and you take a moment to snuggle up on the bed with Mimi, who promptly falls asleep on your chest. You can't blame her after seeing the pain of childbirth first hand, you whisper to her.
Sam: You're right, my love. One child is more than enough for us. I'm not going to put you through that again.
Mimi (Smiling into your neck): We shall see, my husband. We shall see.
They brought Evan Thomas Waters in and announced he weighed in at 9lbs, 7oz. and was 23 inches long. The nurse showed Mimi how to breastfeed him correctly and he latched on the first try like a pro. This was the first time you got to watch this beautiful sight and you decided that you wanted to be around to see this wonderful and glorious time they have together, loving that she lets you be a part of their bonding. Family members start to come in to visit and see their grandson after she finished feeding him, while you are trying to figure out how to change his diaper for the first time. Luckily, your mother takes pity on you and assumes the job, quickly getting the dirty one off and the clean one in place. She then swaddles him back up and cradles him in her arms.
Mrs. Waters: Mimi, he's absolutely perfect. You did so good, we are so proud of you both.
Everyone took pictures of each other holding little big Evan so that they could post them on social media and show him off to their friends. Her mom stayed close to Mimi's side and held her hand, weeping for joy with her baby girl. Their bond had restored and was stronger than ever. You know both moms wanted to be in the birthing room with you, but they were on a plane flying back from a Florida vacation together. They actually all came straight from the airport to the hospital.
****End Flashback****
Mimi (Clears thought): Earth to Sam, come in Sam.
Sam: Sorry, babe, was just remembering it all.
Mimi: I could tell. Do you want to burp her while I go check on what your suspiciously quiet son is up to now?
Sam: Sure, my love.
Taking Susannah Julie Waters from your still beautiful bride, you catch Mimi's arm before she can leave the nursery and give her a lingering kiss before saying.
Sam: Oh, honey, I'm so happy we got married in the 4th grade.
