Why again? (Continuing from the Teaser)

I smiled lightly and hugged him back. We cuddled next to each other and fell asleep.

Next Morning

I get up and get dressed, I look at Jack, and go downstairs, I prepare breakfast as Jack comes downstairs an hour later.

"I have to work today. So..I won't be here. Can you manage?" He asks

I sigh, "yes, Jade and Beth are here, also here" I hand him his plate, then get some food of my own and sit down

Jack sits down, "I wish you could come with me. But my boss says you're too much of a distraction"

I smile, "I know. I'm just too beautiful. My beauty is too much" I say dramatically

He snickers, "you are so beautiful kitten"

I blush, "that's a new name?"

He smirks, "I'm going to use it a lot more too."

We finish our breakfast, he gives me a goodbye kiss and leaves for work.
I sigh again, remembering the dream, a tear falls down my face. I wipe it, head to the couch and turn on the TV, later, Jade sits next to me with breakfast.

"Youre good at cookin Sammy. Also, mornin"

I smile, "thanks, and morning"

"What are ya watching?"

I look over back to the TV, "Steven Universe. Pink Diamond seems to hurt so many others."

Jade smiles, "dude I love that show! And I agree."

After a bit

I get up and stretch. "That felt good, oh hey, Jack forgot his company ID."

Jade looked over, "huh, yes he did"

I giggled, "I'll go give it to him." I was about to head out the door when I heard Beth come down the stairs frantically.

"Guy, theres some guy at our house..Hes just been staring."

That's when the door bell rang, then banging on the door.

I froze and remembered my dream, I shivered and Jade looked over, "Ill take care of this. Sam, Beth, back yard. I think we all know who it is..."

I ran into the backyard with Beth.
"Do you think its-?"

I stared into her eyes. I didnt know what to say, or feel. I was...Scared. I was so scared.

Beth frowned even more and hugged me, "it'll be ok. Jade is strong. I know she is."

I calmed down and remembered when Jade took down Manny and Toby. And I smiled so meekly. She let go and brought out her phone.

"What're doing?"

She put the phone to her ear, "being smart and calling the police."

"That is smart." I got my phone out in case.

Jade:

I looked over back to the door. The doorbell rang again, then more loud knocking. I grabbed a kitchen knife and as I walked back.

The person, most likely Kevin. Started trying to bring the door down. I jumped back from the sudden banging but instantly ragained posture and walked towards the door. Ready for what was behind it.

"I swear to God..." She got in fighting stance next to the door. The door finally busted open as Kevin walked in, Jade sliced him with the knife and kicked him back.

He groans before looking at me, "where is he, Jade?"

I went wide-eyed, 'howd this guy know my name?' I glared at him, "not here. We knew it was you Kevin. He's gone."
