Amber got up early out of habit, since she had been waking up early since she was little, to see her brother off when he was going to school, and later on, to go to school herself. After getting ready, she set out. Once she got there, she realized that the school grounds looked completely different from how the seemed outside of the gate, but she thought that maybe it was just her imagination. She spotted two students walking up to her.
"I've never seen you around here before. You are planning to transfer here, right?" The first boy said. He had black hair and black eyes. There really wasn't anything distinct about him, sort of like the people you pass by on the street and immediately forget afterwards. If he hadn't spoken, Amber probably wouldn't have even known he was there.
"If you are, the headmaster's office is that way. Second floor, turn right, fourth room on the left." Said the other boy with a smile. He had silver hair and pink-red eyes.
"Thank you so much...um...Whitey?" Amber responded awkwardly, not sure what else to call him.
"No problem at all. You can call me Silver, and this is Flint." The boy answered back. He gestured to the black-haired boy standing next to him. Amber had almost forgotten he was there. "What's your name?"
"Nice to meet you, Silver. I'm Amber." Amber said to him."You seem like a good person. I hope you get in." Silver added.
"Thanks! I'll be sure to get in, so don't forget about me!" Amber said confidently.
"There's no way I would forget someone like you that quickly. You should be on your way then. I guess I'll see you if you get in." Silver replied before they walked off to one of the other staircases. Amber followed Silver's directions to the headmaster's office. It was a small room lined with bookcases, and a large window overlooking a large, sectioned field.
"Hello there. I don't think I've seen your face here before. What brings you here?" The headmaster, a man with brown hair and turquoise colored eyes, said when she walked in.
"Hello, Mr. Headmaster. My name is Amber Raelin. I came here to apply to this academy. What are the requirements into applying to this school?" She said in response.
"Oh, you are an esper. You have an electricity manipulation ability, is that right?" He said.
"Huh?! How did you know that?" Amber said, surprised.
"I am also an esper. My ability is to sense other people's powers. Anyways, to apply to this school, you must have a duel with one of the students and see if you can do a good amount of damage to him. If you do, you will pass my test of strength. This is a high class academy. Only the strong ones will be accepted from my school."
"So, does that mean this is an esper only school?""Precisely, this school is only for espers."
"That's nice. I'll do my best, Headmaster! When will I fight this student?"
"Are you okay with fighting him right now?"
"Sure, I won't let you down!" Amber responded confidently, as she watched the headmaster type and print something out. Her school records and information. He then walked over to the intercom loudspeaker with a list. After flipping through the list a bit, he spoke into the mic.
"Emerald, please report to the battlefield!"
