Eva POV

I found Hope sitting in the library. "Hey."

She instantly looked up from the book she was reading. "What's up?"

"You know what's up." I told her nodding to her stomach. By now everyone but Dr. Saltzman knows. "What are we going to do?"

"I don't know." She sighed, setting the book down."I guess we have to tell Dr. Saltzman."

My eyes widened. I'm not ready for that shit. "Now?"

"When else? It's going to be spring break and I wasn't even planning on going to New Orleans but now that I'm pregnant, I'm definitely not going back to my family. They'll kill you. Dr. Saltzman needs to help us figure this out." She explained, standing up.

She took my hand and I felt a little more at ease. "Okay, but isn't he going on a trip?"

"Yep, which is why I asked to talk to him before he leaves." Oh so she already planed this. I'm dead. "Let's go." Fuck. Now?

"Wait so like right now?" I asked.

"Yep." She nodded, pulling me towards Dr. Saltzman's office.

"What?!" Just as I suspected, he's pissed.

"It just happened." I said, shrinking into the chair that I was sitting in.

"How could you be so irresponsible?" He asked, his head in his hands. He sighed and looked up at us. "Well, what's done is done and since I can't seem to trust you two to be alone, you're coming with me on a road trip to get the urn back. We'll figure this out when we get back." He told us.

I nodded, kinda scared of what he'll do. That man is scary when it comes to being a father figure.

After the meeting, I went to go find Carlos. We were supposed to go to Spain over break but now that I can't go, that may not happen.

"Hey, Los." I said, walking into his room. The twins were in there as well and they ran over to me, hugging my legs. "Hi boys.

"Hey, what's up?" Carlos asked, looking up from his game.

"Look some shit went down with the urn and I have to go with Dr. Saltzman on a road trip. I'm sorry but I don't think we can go back to Spain to see Vanessa and our other friends like we were planning." I told him. Not the whole truth but he knows about the baby. I expected him to look sad but he seemed...relieved?

"Actually that's great. I broke up with Vanessa so we don't have to be back anytime soon." He told me.

I was shocked. He seemed so into her. How could he just break up with her.

"Wait, you guys broke up?" I asked. He shrugged and nodded. This fucker. "Why?"

"Well, when I was slugged some things came to light for me. I realized that long distance is hard and I love her platonically, not romantically. Just like when you broke up with Luna before you started dating Hope." He explained. Poor guy. This slug really messed with him I guess.

"Damn, I'm sorry dude." I told him, genuinely sad for him.

He shrugged again. "It's fine, I did what was right. It's not fair to her for me to date her when I like someone else." Oh so my cousin has a new crush now. My money's on Jed.

"Who is this new person?" I asked playfully. He suddenly went pale. Oh he has it bad.

"Not saying." He quickly said. "I got to go find Jed. Have fun on your trip." He said, pausing his game and running out.
