Eva POV

Walking passed Dorian's office, I saw my cousin Carlos and his best friend Jed sitting outside. I groaned and went over to the two trouble makers.

"What was it this time, Carlitos?" I asked and he looked up at me with his classic smug smile.

"Harmless prank on some witches." He shrugged and I groaned again, I love my cousin but he's going to get himself in huge trouble one day.

"You guys picked the worst day. You know how strict Dorian is when Dr. Saltzman is gone." I told both of them as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Yeah well we've established that we're not really the common sense types." Jed said with a smirk. These two can be so infuriating.

"I'll let Penelope deal with you, Jed." I said to him before turning my attention to my cousin. "Carlos, I love you but you need to start taking a little more responsibility. We're not kids anymore dude. Plus we have to set an example for the twins, they're four now which means...you turned off your hearing aids, didn't you." He wasn't paying attention at all or acknowledging me. I hate that he can tune out any conversation. "Figures." I rolled my eyes and smacked his shoulder. He jumped and turned his hearing aids back on.

"What?" He asked and I gave him a, 'don't test me' look.

"I won't lecture you but I'm not going to bail you out of trouble anymore." I said with a stern tone. I'm older than him by 2 months which means that I have to be his parental figure since both of parents are dead.

"It's not like they can expel me. Where am I going to go?" He said, rolling his eyes. He's too cocky because we don't have anywhere to go but they could find somewhere to put us back home, he just doesn't think things through.

"Back to Spain." I said and he chuckled slightly.

"They wouldn't do that, right?" He said cockily at first but by the end, he sounded unsure.

"I don't think so but it's a possibility." I told him and I think I finally got to him because he looked down and looked sorry.

"Lo siento, muñeca." Spanish, I definitely got to him.

"Está bien." I said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder and shaking it slightly. "Te quiero."

"Yo támbien te quiero." He said, looking up at me and giving me the look that tells me that he wants me to bail him out.

"Adios, buenas suerte." I said with a slight smirk. Maybe it get a little bit of satisfaction from this.

"Callete." He said, rolling his eyes. I just chuckled and walked away.

I have better things to do than bail my idiot cousin and his idiot friend out of trouble. For example, I have to go meet my girlfriend, Hope. Hope has a mission with Dr. Saltzman yesterday and she's getting back today. I'm meeting up with her and the Saltzman twins at the entrance.

When I got to the entrance, I saw Hope and she immediately hugged me and kissed me all over my face. One of the boys that they picked up looked upset. I guess he likes her.

"There's my girl, I missed you." She said. I smiled, cupping her cheek and giving her a proper kiss. She smiled as we pulled away.

"I missed you too." I said as I tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"Of course you did." She said and I laughed slightly as her cockiness. "Where are the twins?" She asked, looking for my four year old brothers.
