I put Daniel on my back as I walked through the hallways, the strong smell of Slayer was filling my nose. So much so, it almost made me tear up. Well, I guess that's also because I just saved Daniel from dying. Regardless, it made my vision blurry. I heard a muffle of voices coming from a room close by, and they sounded a lot like Eddie. "Matias? Where are we?" Daniel said, half asleep and weak. "Shhh! Keep your voice down, I can hear them speaking," I said. I set Daniel on the ground and put my ear up to the door to listen in.

"It's official. We have the amulet." Eddie said to someone.

Interference, the sound of static was heard. I couldn't make out a single word that the person was saying, all I could hear were certain consonants, and maybe a vowel here or there. The voice was deep, but also high-pitched. It doesn't make any sense, but it's how I perceive it. "No, we don't have the superior... I don't know where he is, he's about as hard to catch as an eel covered in grease... Yes, eventually we will be able to morphe it back into its venom state... Again, I don't have Stephen. I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery than catching him right now... Yes, sir. I'll get right to it."

Daniel sneezed loudly, and I heard Eddie's neck snap towards the door. This isn't good. I picked Daniel up and put him on my shoulder and hurried back down the hall. I heard Eddie open the door behind me, and talk in the air. "You won't get far; give up now and I might let him live."

Turning every which way was disorienting, but I eventually found myself back where I had woken up. I was outside of my cell, and the door was still locked. Well, it was still shut anyway. "Fang, can you give me a hand?" I said. "I don't know how well it will work, I'm starving. You should have snagged a few bags from the surgical room." "Just try it, and zip it." I heard him growl, but before I knew it I could see into the darkness. Everything inside wasn't able to see outside. So, I put my face up to the glass. Tsarra was there, but she wasn't moving. She was face down, and her head looked like it had been busted open. Next to her, I couldn't believe my eyes. Stephen.

He was standing over her body, looking at what he's done. His hands were covered in what seemed like blood, but it was more of a greenish color. I heard whispers all around me, and suddenly he looked up. He stared straight into my eyes. When he smiled, his mouth opened up and started to speak. He mouthed the word "RUN". I ran away, carrying Daniel on my back before I was stopped suddenly. Bradly was right around the corner, in a fighting stance. He dropkicked me and launched Daniel across the room. "Long time no see, faggot!" He said. He punched me in the stomach before spitting in my face. I tried to get up, but he kept kicking my side. So much so, I had to vomit blood. I screamed in pain, trying to wake Daniel up.

When Bradly backed away, I saw what he was going to do. He put out his elbow and ran in my direction. Before he could slam into me, I rolled away so that his elbow hit the concrete directly. The sound of snapping bones had made me cringe, but I couldn't look away. Fang couldn't look away. He screamed, and I saw that the light in his eyes was flashing. "He's dying! Finish him!" Fang said. "No! I can't kill him. No matter how much I hate him, I'm not killing him!" "Step aside," Fang said. I lost the feeling of my body. My legs, my arms, even my head. Fang took full control, and before I knew it I could no longer hear Bradly breathing. Fang kicked him in the side so hard that he must have ruptured an organ. I saw blood coming out from his mouth, and his eyes went dark. I couldn't say anything, nor could I scream. It was like I was in a body of water, trying to scream Marco as the bubbles of air carried my screams and turned them into nothing. Fang picked up Daniel and turned to the door that Stephen was behind. The door was wide open, and Stephen was nowhere to be found. "I'm too weak... I can't contain myself much longer..." Fang said. I felt him slowly fade away as the control came back to me. Usually, I'd be jumping with joy. Right now, I'm scared to death. With Stephen running around, I don't think I'd be able to do this on my own.
