Part 14- Break down

Betty's pov:

14 days since he left... 14. I really don't think I can take it anymore. I miss him so much to the point where it hurts. "Morning, B" V smiles softly as she comes into math. "Hi" I mumble. "Let's call them" She sadly says as she takes out her phone. "Hey you" Arch says. "Is Jug there?" I ask quickly. "Hello to you too Betty" He smirks. I give him the death stare which makes him turn the camera. "Hey, Baby" Jug says softly. "Hi" I murmur. "You doing okay?" He asks quietly. I shake my head as I feel tears well up in my eyes. "I'm convincing my dad for me to come down in a few weeks, I'll be down soon, I promise". "A few weeks" I gasp. He sadly nods. I start to feel my airway close which makes me dig my nails into my palms. "Betty, Your going pale" V says as she feels my forehead. "Shit" She breathes out. I couldn't hold them in anymore, The tears just come straight out. "Fuck, I'll talk with you guys later" V says as she hangs up while the boys were shouting; "what's going on!". "B, We're going to the health center" She says as she pulls me up.

"Veronica, What's going on?" Nurse Marie asks as we go in. "Panic attack" She says. "Alright, Betty, Come sit down, I'll call your mum" She says as she directs me over to a chair. I try to say something but nothing could come out. I just continued crying while digging my nails into my palms. "Veronica, Do you know what caused this?" She asks. "Um, Her boyfriend told her that he couldn't come out for another few weeks, He left 2 weeks ago, She misses him" Veronica says as she grips onto my hand. She nods and dials a number into the phone. My head starts to spin, My breathing fully cuts off and then everything turns black.

Jug's pov:

"What the fuck!" I yell as V ends the call. "Jug, Maybe class just started" Archie says. "Betty was crying, Class didn't start". "Fuck this" I say as I walk out of the classroom. I called Ronnie a good 12 times but she never answered. I then remembered that Betty gave me her home phone number; I could it least try. "Pick up" I mumble as it rings and rings. "Hello?" I hear a voice say... Polly. "Polly, Thank fuck, what's going on" I say quickly. "Betty's had a panic attack, She blacked out, I'm getting her stuff" Polly says. "Her stuff...". "She's in the hospital, Jughead". "Holy shit, Alright, um, Keep a phone close" I say and hang up. I run all the way home and burst through the door. "Mom, I have to go to Riverdale!" I shout as I pack all my stuff into a duffel bag. "Jug, What's going on?" She asks as she comes into my bedroom. "Betty's in hospital, I'm going" I say as I pick up my laptop. "Jug, We are not made of money". "I'll pay, I have enough from working at the diner". She sighs and nods.

"Thanks for coming with me, Bro" I say to Arch as we sit on the plane with one more hour to go. "It's not a problem, I want to see Ronnie anyway". "Do they even know we are coming?". "Nope, V won't pick up" I answer. "Shit" He mumbles.

Veronica's pov:

"Alice, What's going in, Tell me!" I shout as I sit in the waiting room and she comes out of Betty's hospital room. "Veronica, She is still out, but she is breathing, She is going to be alright" She says as she sits next to me. I breath out as I pull out my phone. '25 missed calls from Jug 🤪🖤'. 'Fuck'. I quickly click on his contact but it goes straight to voicemail. I sigh and slump more into the uncomfortable seat.

(20 minuets later)

"Veronica!" A voice shouts. "Jughead!" I shout back as I run into his arms. "Archie" I cry out as I jump into his arms after. "Hey, Babe" He murmurs into my ear. "What are you guys doing here!" I shout. "Have you seen my baby, Where is she?" Jug says. I point towards Alice which makes him run straight over. "Are you alright?" Archie asks quietly. "I'm still worried about her" I sigh. He nods and hugs me tightly.

Jug's pov:

"Where's Betty?" I ask Alice. "In there with Polly" She slightly smiles. I go into the room and immediately Polly stands up. "I'll let you two be" She whispers and leaves. I sit in the chair next to the bed and grab her hand. "I'm so sorry, Baby, This is all my fault". She moves around a little and then quickly opens her eyes. "Juggie" She cries out as she pulls me closer. I stand up and lean over to hug her. "God, I'm so happy you are alright". "How are you here?" She sniffles. "As soon as I found out you were in hospital I came". "Come lie next to me" She shuffles over. "Baby" I chuckle. She pouts with puppy dog eyes. I sigh and lie next to her. She cuddles up against me, breathing in my scent. "I love you so much, Princess" I murmur into her ear. "I love you too, Juggie".

Betty's pov:

I slept for a good 2 hours in Jug's arms until my Mom came in. "Betts, Your being discharged" Jug whispers to me. "I can go home?". He nods and kisses my forehead. "Are you coming too?" I ask quietly. "Of course, Baby" He smiles softly. 

"Can you carry me?" I ask Jug as we reach the house. He nods and climbs out of the car. He gently picks me up and being me, I huddle my face into the crook of his neck. I watch my mom open the door and then Jug walking up the stairs. "How long are you staying?" I ask quietly. "As long as I need too, Baby". "Can you just stay with me forever" I ask quietly as he enters my bedroom. He slightly smiles and lays me down on the bed. "I'm so sleepy" I murmur. "Want me to change you?" He grins. I nod with a smirk. He gently closes the door and grabs one of his shirts out of my closet. "Didn't know you had this many of my clothes" He chuckles. I giggle as he just grins at me.

(2 hours later)

"Juggie" I murmur as I snuggle more into his chest. "Yes, Baby?" He asks quietly. "I'm going to miss you when you leave". "Don't think about that, Bub" He says as he brushes my hair out of my face. "How can I not" I shrug. "I will always be by your side, Betty, Forever". I look up at him and gently peck his lips. "I love you so much, Juggie". "And I love you forever, My princess"...
