4- so, she finally returns

BOWSERS POV

I was staring at the wall. I've done the same thing so many times, I wondered, what is the point anymore?

I am so sad. I still think of her every day, and she's probably already forgotten me. She's probably with someone else.

I let myself cry.

"Why did you leave!"I yelled,"Why did you do this to me!"

I heard a knock on the door. It was probably a goomba. Or a koopa troopa. But they usually just come in.

I yelled, "JUST A SECOND!"

I washed my face, washed the tears off.

I swung the door open. I instantly recognised the person standing there.

"Hi,"she said.

"Clawdia?"I said, with no emotion.

There was so much things I wanted to do. I wanted to cry, to shout at her, ask her why she left, kiss her.

But I just stood there.

Frozen.

"Can I come in?"she asked.

I growled at her. "Why?"

"Can I just come in? It's cold out here. Plus, they're all looking at me, and it's making me uncomfortable,"she said, with sadness in her voice.

A random group of paragoombas were staring at her.

"Get off my land! I don't know you!"I yelled at them.

I let her in and closed the door.

"This is quite a big place. You've done well for yourself. It's about 2 hours away from the city, though."

"Well, actually, I'm not doing well. Not at all. I got exiled,"I said sarcastically.

"Why? You? Exiled? No. They all love you there,"she said.

"It's been a long time, Clawdia,"I said. "12 years. Junior is nearly a teenager."

"I know. I realised."

"Why did you leave!"I yelled. Tears wanted to come out, but I held them back. "WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU? DO YOU REALISE HOW CONFUSED I WAS?? AND STILL AM? I WAS EXILED BECAUSE I TRIED TO KIDNAP THE PRINCESS, TO GIVE HIM A MOTHER. BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T HERE!"

Clawdia started crying. "I'm sorry. Does he even know who I am?"

"No. None of them do,"I said.

"What do you mean, none of them?"Clawdia asked.

"Yeah, I adopted 7 more of them. They try to crack me everyday to get me to reveal who you are. Because now that Junior has been getting older, he's curious."

"There's 8 of them?"

"None of you business. Why are you here, anyway?"I asked.

"Well, to say sorry. And, I started missing you lately. I was so stupid to just give up Junior. But we were young,"said Clawdia.

"THATS NO EXCUSE! I took care of him when you left! And I adopted 7 more of them too!"

"I can be a mother!"she said.

"You haven't done a very good job so far!"I yelled.

"Just shut up for a minute, Bowser,"she said, as she pulled me down to her level and started kissing me.

That was it. The moment I was waiting for for the past 12 years.
