I never understood black and white

until I looked back at my life

the memories are unforgettable

I realized

this is what it feels like

to be so colorless

I always longed for colored paint

and new excitement

I never longed for the past like this

I love in black and white

because only I know the colors it holds

in those memories

I finally learned to appreciate

the things I only see with my heart

and the elements I feel inside
