Rue's POV

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing and vibrating. I groaned while picking it up and answering it.

"Hello" I say groggily

"Yo Rue it's Fez where you at? You said you would come over at 12:30." He tells me.

" Fez it's not even-" I stopped mid sentence to look at the time and its 1:45.

"Oh shit my bad fez I must've over slept give me like 10 minutes." I say to fez while to hurry up and get dressed.

"It's alright Rue, I already know how your sleepy ass is. Just hurry up and get over here I need to talk to you about something."Fez says to me while laughing.

"Okay I'm on my way see you soon" I tell fez then hanging up the phone.

"I wonder what he needs to talk to me about" I thought to myself Snap out of it Rue focus the faster you make it over there the faster he'll tell me.

I run into the kitchen and damn near tripping over everything trying to hurry up and get to fez's.

"Jesus Rue where are you off to in such a hurry" my mom asks as I bump into her on my way out the door.

I brush past her then I start running I turn around and yell "I'M GOING TO FEZ'S I WILL BE HOME LATER"

"RUE YOU WILL GET THERE FASTER IF YOU RODE YOUR BIKE HUN." mom yelled back laughing.

Oh shit she's right.This is why I love my mom she always helps me keep my head on straight. I ran back to grab my bike once I get on I start pedaling as fast I can.

"THANKS FOR THE ADVICE MOM" I yell back to her before leaving the yard.

She just smiles and goes back in the house.

" That girl always keeps me on my toes"

I reach fez's house and I'm not even gonna lie to y'all. My legs are fire from all that pedaling. But the leg burning sensation wasn't a bad feeling. It reminds me of the good times the times I was happier.

I knock on the door three times

Knock
Knock
Knock

Of course I flip off the Camera because why not.

"Aye who's at the door" Fez asks Ashtray.

"It's Rue damn she looks good rehab must've really been effective for her" Ashtray says to fez

Fez smiles then says "I'm glad she's doing better Let her in"

Ashtray opens the door and let's Rue in

"What's up hoodlums miss me?" Rue says laughing and hugging Ashtray and Fez.

"About damn time you showed up" Fez and Ashtray said in unison.

I just laugh.

"So what's going on with y'all that I needed to get here immediately?" I ask Fez

"We heard McKay's having a party Friday night and we figured that would be the best time for us to sell plus we wanted to invite with us. There's some people that been waiting to see you." Fez says to me.

I honestly looked at fez in shock. Who could possibly be waiting to see me? I thought everyone thought I was dead after my last overdose.

Me? Who is excited to see me? I ask fez with a raised brow.

"Cassie,Kat,Maddie and especially Lexi Rue she was really worried about you. She texted me and Gia every day asking about you." Fez told me.

My heart skipped a beat after hearing fez telling me Lexi was worried about me. I've been best friends with Lexi for a long time and I've had a crush on her since 7th grade. I haven't really spoke to her since my last hospital visit after the overdose. I just thought she forgot about me. Ever moment I was away I just thought.

"Rue Rue you okay?" Fez says snapping his fingers in my face.

I hop up and run out the door I yell back at fez on my way out the door. " sorry Fez I have someone I need to see but you should swing by my house at 8 before the party"

Fez and Ashtray look at each other in confusion

I hop on my bike and start pedaling fast. I didn't lie to Fez when I said there's someone I really need to see and her name is Lexi Howard.
