"Hey thank you. You really didn't have to do that."
"It's really my pleasure he was being a dick. Someone had to put him in his place."
"Wait I feel like I remember you from somewhere," I say to her.
"Well, I'll be damned hey there stranger I had a feeling we'd meet again. Last time I saw you I kind of almost killed you on my bike. Sorry about that" she responds nervously rubbing her neck.

" Yeah that's where I remember you from and honestly it's okay. No harm no foul right?" I reassure her.
"I guess you are right. But during our first meeting if you'd even call it that. I never caught your name."
"Oh, shit how rude of me. I'm Jules. And you are?" I say to her as I reach to shake her hand.
"Jules? Hmm, that's a name I haven't heard around here before you must've just moved here? And I'm Rue. It's nice to meet you " She says as she shakes my hand.
"Yeah, I just moved here with my dad," I tell her.
"Well, I'd like to assume you didn't come here alone. Did you come here with someone?"
"Actually I came here with my fri-."
"Heyyy Rue I'm happy to see you," Kat says hugging Rue.
"Hey Kat nice to see you too," Rue says smiling
"Rue are you okay? You were gone for a while plus I heard yelling from over here. So I came to check on you." Lexi asked in a concerned tone.
"Yeah, I'm okay Lex also here's your water I know you've been waiting for it," Rue says to Lexi.
"Who's your friend?" Lexi asks Rue.
"Oh, my bad. Lexi this is my friend Jules I kind of almost killed her with my bike the other day. And Jules this is my girlfriend Lexi.
Fuck she has a girlfriend.
"It's about time y'all started dating. It was so obvious y'all liked each other." Kat says to Rue.
"It's nice to meet you, Lexi," I say attempting to shake her hand.
"It's nice to meet you too Jules" Lexi says to me while smiling and shaking my hand.
"Rue I was wondering if you wanted to hang out outside since it's a little crowded?" Lexi asks Rue.
"Sure We'll see y'all later," Rue says as she waves bye to Kat and me.
"Bye, y'all," Kat and I say in unison.
"Kat I have to tell you something,"
"What's up?" She asks with a raised brow.
"You remember how I told you I ran into a girl on my bike and how I thought she was cute."
