Steph walked through the door and yawned she was exhausted, traveling with a toddler was a challenge, but at least Oliver fell asleep. She set down the sleeping baby and walked through the house, and whispered "Matthew?" And she got no answer. She started looking from room to room, unable to find him. She pulled out her phone and tried to call him when she heard "Miss me, sweetie? " Steph knew that voice and it wasn't a good thing. She reached beside her and grabbed a hammer. And then the voice said "I would put that down if I were you honey. " She looked toward the voice, and standing there in a lab coat smiling at her with black eyes was Madpat. Steph gripped the hammer tighter and said "H-how? " Madpat snickered and said "That's an interesting story actually, put the hammer down so we can talk. " Steph said "No." And swung it hard, but Madpat caught her hand and snickered and said "You didn't think this through did you honey? "Madpat squeezed her hand hard and Steph screamed in pain,dropping the hammer and waking the baby in the other room. Mad heard the crying and smiled, and said "Sounds like a cute baby. " Steph said "Don't you fucking dare. " Mad smiled and said "Dare what?" And kicked Steph to the ground. Mad smiled as the crying from the other room got louder. Mad said "You don't wanna make him cry even louder do you? " And reached into his pocket and said "Let's make this easy darling. " Mad pulled out a syringe and stabbed Steph in the neck and "Sweet dreams. "
