Part 27: Splitting up

Nate slowly walked down the hallway. Which was way more quiet without Dark for some reason but it's not like he was complaining. As he walked down the hallway he heard what sounded like Natemare, Anti, and Madpat arguing. Nate hid around the corner and slowly peeked his head out and saw Natemare standing there with his arms crossed while Anti and Madpat stared at him. Natemare said "How do you expect me to know where he is? " Madpat said "Maybe because you were the last one to see him?" Natemare said " How does that translate to I automatically should know where he is huh? " Nate slowly walked by then being careful to be quiet and snuck into the lab. When he got into the lab he looked at the list that Matt gave him, and quickly collected the stuff to his relief, none of them walked in. Nate slowly crept out of the lab and snuck back down the hallway and back to their hiding spot and knocked on the door, where Steph answered and said "You get the stuff? " Nate said "Yeah." Steph said "Come on. " And let him in. When he got into the room Gab asked "So what were they doing? " Nate said "Arguing, because apparently Dark's still missing. " Mark said "Maybe acid does work. " Matt said "Maybe you're right, but that's not a risk I'm willing to take. " Nate said "Here's the stuff." and handed it to Matthew. Sean said "How long is this gonna take?" Matt said "As long as they're busy, not long." Mark said "Maybe one of us should go distract them in case they stop arguing." Nate said "Don't look at me, I can't run fast!" Sean and Gab looked at each other and said " We can do it!" Mark said "Are you guys sure?" Sean said "Yeah, why not have you seen how fast I can run?" Nate said "You up for it Gab?" Gab said "It honestly sounds fun"  Mark said "Okay, just be careful guys." Gab said "Yup." Sean said "Don't worry we'll be fine." and they slowly walked out. The rest of the group could hear Sean and Gab running down the hall. Nate said " Okay, how long did that buy you?"  Matt said "An extra ten minutes, if they don't get tired."   Five minutes later Matt said "Done."  Nate said " Are they still running?" Mark said "Yup, they are definitely still running!"  Nate said "Should we go out?" Matt said "Yup." and showed Nate a glowing vial.Nate said "Woah, that's cool!" Mark said "Yeah, that's awesome!" Matt said "Take one, someone follow Gab and Sean, and someone else find Dark, Steph and I will  find us a way out of here." Mark said "I'll take care of Dark."  and ran out. Nate rolled his eyes said "Of course he  leaves me me the hard job." and grabbed the vial and looked at Matt and Steph and said "Please get us out of here fast I beg of you two!" Steph said "Working on it!" Matt said "Go now before you lose them!" Nate said "I hate this so much!" and walked out.
