Chapter 19: Choke

Nate was getting worried, Matt still hasn't said anything and it's been over fifteen minutes. Mark stood up and said "Okay guys we can't just stay here, I know we're all worried about Matt , I'm gonna go see if I can find anything to change him back, or get us out of here." Nate said "Be careful. " Mark said "I'll be fine, Sean do you wanna to come? " Sean looked back at Nate and Gab and said "You guys think you'll be okay with Matt? " Nate looked at Gab and she nodded her head. Nate said "I think we got him. " Sean said "Okay, good luck . " And got up. Nate said "Don't be too long. " Sean said "Wish us luck. " And they both walked out of the room. As they were walking down the hall Sean looked at Mark and said "I'm really sorry about what happened Mark, it really stupid of me to do that to you guys ." Mark said "Don't worry about it, I would've done the same thing if they threatened A-. " Marks eyes grew wide. Sean said "What? " Mark said "You don't think they got Amy and Steph do you? " Sean said "Shit I didn't think about that! " Mark said "Oh man what do we do now, all four of them are gone, Matt's still acting weird, and we have no idea what they did to him?" Sean said "Calm down, we need to stay focused, Matt's gonna be all right, I'm sure the girls are fine!" Mark said "God I hope so. "

After walking for a while they heard footsteps Mark grabbed Sean and said "Do you hear that? " Sean nervously said "Uh huh. " Mark said "We gotta hide! " Sean said "Mark what's that?" Mark looked at Sean and saw thick black smoke getting closer and closer to them. Mark grabbed Sean's arm and said "Come on! " And they started running when they heard "Stop drop, and drag me into the place. " Mark said "What the hell is going on? " Sean said "Run! " "And lock the fire escapes, I'll break your pretty face." Mark and Sean ran back the way they came and saw a door. Sean said "Where the hell did that come from? " "Oh you clever little things, the sycophantic teens, what a precious basket case. " Sean said tried the door and it wouldn't budge. Sean looked at Mark and said "It won't open!" Mark said " Move. "

Mark rammed into the door which shockingly opened. Mark and Sean ran in and slammed the door shut. Sean said "That was a close one. " Mark froze and said "Sean, look. " Sean looked at the door and saw the smoke coming through. "Now shut your dirty mouth!" Sean said "What do we do? " Mark said "Cover your face, we don't know what that stuff does! " "If I could burn this town!" The smoke filled the whole room as the guys struggled to breathe. "I wouldn't hesitate to smile while you suffocate and die!" The smoke was getting thicker and thicker Mark whispered to Sean "Don't breathe it in!" Sean said "Wasn't planning on it Mark !" "And that would be just fine, And what a lovely time" Mark looked at Sean who was getting weaker. Mark said "Fight it Sean." Sean said "I can't." "That it would surely be, So bite your tongue!" Sean slowly fell to the ground. Mark said "Sean! " Mark could feel his body giving in he needed to breathe. "And choke yourself to sleep!" And then Mark passed out next to Sean.
